Marris is a highly inventive and curious dragon. The Arcanist is his role model and source of inspiration. He has always taken care to follow in his deity's footsteps: he has built his own telescope and has been charting the stars for years, filling up hundreds of books with his discoveries. He's excitable, even for a Spiral, and one can typically find him busying himself in his lair, amidst the creative mayhem of scattered papers and shiny gizmo blueprints.

As an egg, Marris was stolen from dragon traders by Seraph, who thought that by doing so she would save the hatchling from the vulturous group of potential buyers at the event.
