Assigned title of Demi-god by Albel, worshipped & feared by his fellow clan members, hated by several clans/families above ground and the leader of the clan Abyssal Depths. Verdana's life has been turbulent to say the least. Left to Albel to fulfill the prophecy of the clan Abyssal Depths at a young age, raised by the priest to become the clan's 'god', left him more than slightly hurt. Albel prohibited him to leave the underground domain that belongs to the clan and taught him to become a cold & selfish leader, a "true ruler". There are many who would question how this child could even be followed by anyone at all. Despite that, Verdana got several followers who blindly follow him, adhering to any rules or orders that he gives. "It is for the best they say", for their leader is an unstable soul with a mood than can change often and without warning, often publicly and gleefully punishing those who rejects his orders to satisfy his sadistic side. |

Despite this there are some members who do enjoy his leadership, for their own selfish reasons. Verdana does not care, for he knows that his words are law and those who stand in his way will be punished accordingly. If one would ask him, he would feign boredom/uninterest for most topics, only to check upon things later on by himself to satisfy his curiosity. He is mostly found in the altar room in his domain or inside his own room, sitting & pondering over things, battling his inner demons and many unanswered questions of his past and the prophecy as he is well aware that his position could one day be threatened by the 'true god'. One can sometimes hear his voice lowly mumbling words into the open; plans, questions, ideas and some days periods of pure emotion or apathy echoing through the large room. His clan members usually avoid him during the worst periods, leaving him to his own solitude and thoughts as approaching their god is bringing even more risks during them. |

Verdana has spent several years ruling his clan with an iron fist from the age of 6 up to the age of 19, at which point his confused childhood caught up and he declared war on his adoptive mother's clan in a fit of rage and regret. The war was violent and chaotic, with most of the casualties on the side of the clan of Fulmen Anima. It was however short, as after only a year the members of the opposing clan pleaded to Tune to put an end to the war as it was her adoptive son and therefore her responsibility. Watching his mother's figure flung Verdana into a storm of emotion. Confusion, sorrow, anger, distrust and joy. For the first time in his years of ruling, his clan members would witness their leader completely freeze up and completely break down. It provided enough distraction to make them all stop in their movements, even the ones who enjoyed the bloodshed and chaos of the war, for they had never seen their god and leader like this. Hesitation and silence would fall upon the battlefield as Fulmen Anima stopped fighting back when their assailants dropped their weapons. The two clan leaders were only staring at each other, not uttering a word. Tension still hung in the air, as both sides would fix their eyes on Verdana who had recently ordered to kill everyone and they all anticipated a repeat of it. Much to his own clan members dismay and to FA's joy, Ver would not repeat his order. The war had ended when their leader no longer had the motivation to kill. Some time after the war, there was a brief 'peace treaty' between the clans, with Tune and the other leaders of her clan meeting up with Verdana and Albel near the entrace to the cave system that leads to his domain. Only a select few of the members of his mother's clan are allowed to visit him and his subjects and while he allows his followers/subjects to now leave the clan for shorter periods of time, it is frowned upon by both him and the others however. Other than this more relaxed approach to clan members leaving for short periods of time, Verdana is still holding onto the old way he ruled. With total obligatory obedience and severe punishment for those who do not abide by his rules and aside from the selected few, absolutely no outsiders. He sometimes goes to the surface and visits his mother as well as his twin brother whom he got introduced to after the war, but the meetings are often stiff and silent despite being told why she had to give him away. If asked he will deny it, but he is actually incredibly happy that the war ended and that he now gets to spent time with his mother and brother as well as see everything he didn't get to see/hear/feel during his childhood. Out of all 'surface things' he've seen, his favourites are flowers & birds. |
