Really fond of his mother, but is still delving into the dark arts much to her dismay.
Couldn't care less about his father and is glad that he moved to earth when his mother wanted to return after training with the anima clan of lighting.
Since moving to Earth he has focused on doing readings with his Tarot card. Also a certain someone has catched his interest.
Hearing the news that his own father died a rather shocking and sudden death, Azurite was perplexed and stunned. He didn't think much of his father but he knew that his father was good at what he was doing. His mother had been moaning about the "stupid" stuff that he was doing on a daily basis and that it would backfire one day on him.
And now...having heard the terrible news just now from his mother, who looked beyond heart broken at the lost of her one true love, he just had to step back from what he was doing and reconsider his own life. Had his mother been right about how dangerous it was what he was doing? It was not really all that diffrent from what his father has been doing for years. Did he really want to lose his life to a stupid mistake like that?
After hiding for weeks on end, mulling and musing about what to do with his life, he finally got back out of his hiding spot and went to talk to his mother for real for the first time...in quite some time to be honest. He felt really bad about it since her only intentions towards him where always of a really protective nature.
He told her that he wanted to help...and get help. He wants to quit the darkest part of the magic that fascinated him for life long and instead wanted to learn how to bend the electricity to his will. He knew that his mother didn't knew how this kind of magic felt but he was sure that she could guide him through the first step of working with his natural side of magic. And in turn he wanted to help...and be a real member of the clan that others can look up to and not run away from screaming in terror. He wanted to learn to adore beings like his baby sister, to feel compassion, happiness and love.
His mother was so overjoyed by hearing that that at first she wasn't able to answer him, she just broke down crying, trying to embrace him into a bear hug. The only words that came out for a while were: "I am so proud of you."
Turning himself around even with the help of his mother proofed to be super hard for him and socializing didn't seem to be part of his favorite part times anytime soon either. But looking at his baby sister always gave him a feeling of...Hope? Certainity? That we would reach his goals eventually.
After his mother gifted him an tarot card deck that she originally got from Maho as one of the only tokens of his love to her, Azurite became intriged and learned all about it and even used it to look into the past, present and future of other dragons around him. But mostly he learned that he could assosiate some dragons with certain cards and feelings. Like his mother was Care and his little sister Hope. Also this shy coatly girl that was learning from his mother. She was courage, which he found quite curious. He never thought he would end up on a team with her either. But she shaped up real nice and courage really did suit her well.
While training with some of the other dragons around that either just wanted to spar with another dragon or needed help perfecting something, he stumbled upon quite a beauty to behold. She fought like an amazone, with strength and grace and he couldn't help himself but watch her train for awhile. She caught him staring though and she didn't like it one bit.
"Come over here and fight me and stop creeping at me like that! I'll smack that stupid grin of your face!"
Falling in love with her on the first brawl was not something he easily admitted to but after months spend training with her, he finally found it in himself to tell her. He just couldn't get enough of her no-nonsence attitute and the graceful way she fought.
"Darling, you are the most beautiful Topaz that ever existed and your beauty and grace are forever engraved into my heart and brain. Please be mine forever?"
And yes PreciousTopaz teached him that line to pick up his going to be girlfriend. Sadly Azurite got a solid smack to his head for it instead of a kiss but she accepted anyway.
