Sovereign

progenitor and undisputed, absolute ruler of the clan, nothing happens without her approval. though she has many assistants and advisers, all permissions must go through the high queen. her mate and head adviser, Young, is always at her side.

she is the mother of three sons, but those children left her clan at a young age. upon receiving news that two of those three sons now serve under the deities of different flights, she decided she would have no more children.

despite her decision to have no more children, she adopted a young dragon and raised him as her son. that adopted son, Riptide, assumed the title of general and the duty of clan commander in battle, allowing his mother to retire. she and her son are very close; she loves her son unconditionally and her son would defend his mother and her clan with his life.

Sovereign and her "sister", Sugar, spend a lot of time together. Sugar came to Sovereign's clan with nowhere else to go, and the guardian accepted her with open arms.
