CLAN COMMANDER OF DEFENSE
One of the Six founding members of the Clan
(though he totally doesn't act like it)

he is very, very proud of his massive Imperial daughter, and gives her dad talks whenever she comes to visit.
writes dad jokes in letters and sends them to her.
when Arc was an Imperial, he used to fall asleep on her back. He still attempts to do this.

BUT HES STILL THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT BOY IN MY HEART

When Peri first joined Beetle's posse as a hatchling, he was quiet and reserved, still shaken from his parents abandoning him so suddenly. He kept to himself, and just followed the others, until Arc noticed the lonely little nocturne and took him under her wing. After a hellish week of Arc trying to connect to the most stubborn hatchling from here to Dragonhome, he started to open up. Then he exploded, and became the loudest, most outgoing (and annoying) of the six in about a day. He would go about stalking older dragons, nipping their tails and hanging off of their wings. He also enjoyed mimicking what the others were doing, copying what they were saying in his little squeaky voice and being as annoying as possible. He quickly became known as the little nightmare, and the herculean task of keeping him in line fell to Arc, who was still only a hatchling herself. Beetle and Marmalade expected her calm personality to rub off on him, as is the way with Nocturnes, but this was not the case. He continued to wreck mayhem wherever they went, only becoming louder and demanding more attention as he grew older. But Arc was kind and very, very patient, and managed to teach him some manners. He is still quite similar to how he was as a hatchling, but at least now he knows how to be more quiet about it, and is able to tell when he is seriously distressing a clanmate.

In addition to being the most annoying (but still loved) in the clan, he is also tiny compared to most Nocturnes his age, but he makes up for it with his massive ego and colorful personality (i know he isnt actually that small anymore, but him being 1.5m long was a fun part of his character so just pretend hes still tiny). He is actually quite sensitive about his size, and especially his need of mechanical wings (made for him by Mirza) to be able to fly at all. When he first put them on he was eager to try them out, but his excitement fizzled out when he realized that the entire clan would see him, a grown Nocturne, just learning how to fly, and using mechanical wings too. Out of nowhere, Ketu, who didn't seem to care about anything at all, stepped in and convinced him that mechanical wings were, like, really cool! He then helped Peri through the entire process of learning to fly, and gave anyone who laughed a dirty look and an insult that was probably a little too personal. Peri is now quite a talented flyer, but still is blown away by any strong gust of wind. One of his favorite hobbies is to find large, active vents of hot air and float from vent to vent without really needing to flap his wings, allowing the hot air to keep him elevated instead.
