  • Farryn is rather cynical, and is only ever positive when she is with her dear Ruby.
  • Beetle was the one to suggest Farryn become treasurer, as Beetle knows from experience that having a disagreeable treasurer discourages anyone from making withdrawals.

Farryn was sent away from her original clan by her parents, and followed the coast from Light until she settled here. She was unenthusiastic to move away, and assumed anywhere she stayed would be absolutely awful. But she found the members and lair of the Soot Snout Clan bearable, and decided to stay. Now that she has settled down and adjusted, she has come to love the Clan. When she first arrived she gravitated towards Yoko, as she was another Wildclaw from the Light flight. Farryn helped Yoko in the hoard, and became the Clan's treasurer. She is well-fitted for the job, as her extreme attention to detail and love of riches mean not a single coin of treasure is lost or miscounted (unless it is slipped into her own pocket). Farryn is rather wealthy herself, and indulges herself with gold and fine clothing. Her greed and stinginess are the only reason she has anything more than anyone else in the clan, everyone else is just a reckless spender. Especially Peri.

Farryn is rather self-centered and arrogant, and doesn't care much for other dragons, but makes sure her opinion is heard anyway. Yoko was her only friend until Ruby showed up. Farryn hardly noticed the quiet Tundra until one day she went exploring deep in the tunnels of the lair. She passed the tunnel down to Mirza's workshop and saw a narrow passage leading away into the dark, the sounds of crashing waves echoing through the tunnel. She entered and found Ruby, eyes and horns glowing bright crimson in the dark. She was bewitched by the odd Tundra and her craft, and began to visit her often. They became friends and eventually lovers. Their personalities compliment the other's perfectly, Ruby helping Farryn be a little kinder, and Farryn helping Ruby be a little braver.
