  • Ruby is the coolest ** in this entire clan.
  • Curses anyone who intentionally misgenders her, or sends a murder of dead crows to haunt them if they do anything worse. No one messes with her.
  • Her crows used to follow her around everywhere until Arc banned them from being inside the lair, as they are rather stinky (being dead and all).
  • Farryn is absolutely entranced by the way Ruby's deep, silky voice sounds, especially when singing incantations.
  • She forgets most things, but can remember the skills of her magic, and every little detail about Farryn.

Ruby settled here by accident, she was flying south for a reason she can't remember when a gale blew her down, and she was forced to shelter in a cave in a cliff at the edge of the sea. When she woke up in the morning, she was greeted by the curious and worried faces of Daphne, Peri, and Marmalade. Marmalade led the bewildered Ruby to Arcturus to be calmed down and questioned, where they got absolutely no answers but Ruby's name and that she had a horrible memory. Ruby decided to stay at the friendly clan's lair until she remembered where she was heading, but she still hasn't remembered.

Ruby doesn't have anywhere to go, and decided to stay at the Soot Snout lair to continue her practice here. Despite her forgetfulness and timid personality, she aspires to be a skilled necromancer. So far she has only resurrected a few crows, who fly about Sornieth and fetch ingredients for her. She is trying to resurrect larger creatures, but is having difficulty. She hoped Izar, a skilled sorcerer, would be able to help her, but Izar knows just about everything about magic except the field of necromancy. Still, whenever Ruby is stuck on something, she goes to see Izar, who usually knows something to help. Since joining the Clan, she has become skilled in bodily transmutation and serves as an emergency medic on the battlefield, quickly sealing wounds and attaching limbs that take a long time to heal.

Ruby doesn't talk to many people beside Izar, as she prefers the company of her crows. However, at the first clan meeting she attended, she saw a beautiful Wildclaw, draped in gold and silks, and was starstruck. Ruby assumed that someone so dignified would have no interest in her, but Farryn took notice of the odd Tundra and they gradually became friends, then lovers.

Ruby's den is deep within the lair, only Mirza's being deeper. The den connects to a sea cave, allowing her crows to get in without going anywhere else inside the lair. She enjoys the location, its very atmospheric for her practice. She keeps the cave very dark, the only light coming from her glowing eyes, horns, and paws, and the mouth of the sea cave when the tide is low.
