Biography

DeKYhn.png Djet
Nut Ushabti
Brilliant|Magical|Adventurer

Unlike many fae dragons, the Nut Ushabti are serious and down-to-earth. Feeling a deep sense of responsibility to look out for the safety of other dragons who explore archaic locations, as well as a duty to safeguard treasures of the past, they rarely go exploring but prefer to choose a tomb, cave system or set of ruins to guard.

Time spent in their territory is dedicated to learning everything they can about it. This is made especially easy for them by their inherent abilities to create visible light–their bodies glow with a light two shades brighter than their skin–and the fresh air that they generate with their wings. It is impossible for a Nut Ushabti to suffocate or drown.

It takes something of great import to pull a Nut Ushabti from their territory, but it’s not impossible. If they believe they’ve unearthed all of the secrets of their territory, they will search for a dragon to serve or Exalt themselves to serve the Eleven directly. Slow to breed, they are devoted parents and guard their nestlings carefully while teaching them how to safely navigate subterranean areas.

Nut Ushabti mate for life when they decide to settle down, but it’s not unheard of for multiple pairs of mates to share large territories and cross-breed. They prefer jewelry as adornment, but often keep heavy gloves at hand to protect their delicate hands and claws when digging through a new location.
