Leader Of Wayward Winds
Follow your dreams, hope for the best, and most of all, don't give up.

Leader of the clan of Wayward Gems, he is a strong tundra, ready for anything, ready to do anything to protect his clan. He is well known by his clan for helping those inside and outside of his clan when they need it. They have watched him put all he has into the dragons he helps whether it be an abandoned nest, lost hatchlings, or even unfortunate wandering dragons. However, despite all of his generosity, Gem is not kind to those who betray him. Possessing a “fool me once, shame on me” attitude, he does not easily let go of grudges and is prone to acting rather aggressive when other dragons manage to get on his bad side. It is best to treat him with the kindness he affords most other dragons.

Both Gem’s kindness to those in need and his trust issues come from his childhood. As a hatchling, he was not loved. His parents were not fond of their fluffy maize colored hatchling and not a month after his hatching decided to get rid of him. Abandoned in the Windswept Plateau during a messy storm, the young tundra was forced to survive on his own for many years. He lived alone in the region of the Wind Flight, struggling through the seasons, warmed by his fluffy coat in the winter, suffering under it in the summer.

The world was not kind to the young tundra. He was often faced with harsh storms and Beastclan violence. However, during his journeys he discovered a young glowing pocket mouse in a field one day, and having no taste for meat, decided to befriend it. An unlikely friend, the pocket mouse has grown with Gem, and the two are now inseparable. The mouse is most often found tucked in the warm yellow fluff between the tundra’s antlers, peeping out now and then to see where Gem has wandered to or who he is speaking with.

When he reached adulthood after the many trials of his adolescence, Gem decided to form a clan, one based on trust and security. He vowed never to abandon any dragon the way his parents had abandoned him and to guide his clan to be moral and kind. He created the Wayward Winds, a group of dragons dedicated to one another despite any trials they may face. Bio made by roxy265
