Tundra was born and raised in the magnificent Starwood Strand. It was there where he learned patience, kindness, and compasssion, as dragons from the Strands are known to have those traits. He was born with a wing disorder which prevented him from being able to fly. His best friend Idra (deceased) built him a brace, allowing Tundra to be able to finally experience the wonders (and convenience) of flight. Tundra and Indra attended the local Arcadian school for many years, and it was there where they met Tundra's future mate, Denas (deceased) and their friend Jing.

After graduating school, the quintet moved to the edges of the Strand, on the cliffs overlooking the ocean and Crystalpine Reaches, with a desirable view of the Observatory. Denas and Jing dug out a quite impressive lair, and decided to make it an open-door clan. Soon enough, they met many dragons interested in living with them, and made tight friendships. Some of the first few members were Rococo, Roxy (deceased), Quetzal, Elyndora (deceased), Brightstone (deceased), Daedalus, Skyfall (deceased), Sprite (deceased), Circuit (deceased), Venom (deceased), and Tierra. Life was good. Or so they thought. Tundra and Denas went on to have triplets, Nixie (deceased), Ash, and Rusty (deceased). Losing two thirds of your first hatch can be devastating. Tundra never wanted to have kids again and Denas gave herself up to the Arcanist. Dragons came and went from the clan, and all this unreliability and lack of stability really took a toll on Tundra, who thrived off routine. He even neglected his only son for the longest time.

With all this loss in this life, Tundra has learned to enjoy life in the moment, and that everything always comes to an end. He is a very emotional dragon, but feels that it's his duty to only exude calmness and patience. Other dragons' needs are his top priority, and he will do anything to protect them and make sure they're living their best life.
