Yaasiel's origins are a complete and total mystery to the entire clan. He simply showed up on a moonless night, covered in blood but without a noticeable wound, and strode into the old lighthouse without a word. Despite their best efforts, none of the clan were able to pry any information from him; he would speak to no one, and avoided even eye contact. As he settled into the clan more, he found his place with Killjoy in the coliseum and the wilds of Sornieth. The two are a fearsome team, working seamlessly in complete silence.

Reserved is an understatement to describe Yaasiel. Its unknown if he's unable to speak or if he simply chooses not to. When not out scouting or fighting, he can most often be found near the center of the clan's territory, head held high, staring silently in any and all directions. He almost seems to be waiting for something, watching carefully. Hatchlings often dare each other to approach the statue-like Imperial; he pays them no mind.

He rarely gives any attention to the dragons of his clan aside from Killjoy, and his other teammate, Koseret. Primrose has attempted to communicate with him somehow to no avail.
