Personality:Thief  " Sometimes, we can't semply choose between bad and good "
Angouleme is a female Ridgeback with a lonely and tormented past. Despite her irrepressible impudence and humor, she hides a sad and frightened soul. She always strut, trying to persuade her enemies to leave her alone and also doesn't like strangers. Under this hard shell of appearance, Angouleme hides a kind and generous temper, that she overcome only to protect herself from the oppression of her past. Lore: Angouleme doesn't know her parents and even the origins of her birth. She grew up on the street and she soon learns how to take care of herself and how to face the hardships of life. To survive, she learns to steal from market stalls and picking pockets with extreme skill. Soon she reached fame, especially with the theft of the rare Filigree Rapier, so much so that is signed with a price on her head. The news also comes to a group of thugs Ridgebacks who contact Angouleme to offer her some paid jobs. She lives with the group for almost five years, during which she steals many valuables from different regions. One day, she has to steal a valuable statuette of Flamecaller, forged by Coatls in The Great Furnace. The Ridgeback succeeds, but she is discovered and chased by the guards, which are then joined in their pursuit by a mysterious Guardian male. After several days of tracking, Angouleme collapses exhausted by fatigue and she's captured by the guards. Trogdor, moved by her sad story, decides to spare her and to take her with him. Angouleme was surprised by the gesture of the dragon, no one has ever shown any kind of interest in her before that moment and, after some time, she ends up falling in love. When she joined the Adventurers Guild, Angouleme had to completely readjust her lifestyle, learning to be a good dragon, honest and fair. At the beginning it was not easy, but thanks to Trogdor's lovely guide, Angouleme has managed to adapt to live in a clan and now helps the surveillance protecting the treasures recovered by adventurers, thanks to her knowledge of robbery. Even if she doens't like CrimsonFlames, the Coatl is a great friend of Trogdor and for this reason she has accepted to live "peacefully" with him. Angouleme's greatest passions is copper. The female dragon loves to watch craftsmen working skillfully this alloy bronze and sometimes she tries to forge some tool or necklace, but without a good result. Unbeknownst to all, Angouleme still owns the Filigree Rapier that made her famous in the underworld. During nights, before bedtime, she thoroughly clean the blade of the sword, remembering with great sadness, but also with a bit of nostalgia, that terrible life of hardship and struggle for survival. |
