MAELGWYN
Personality:Sorcerer  " Searching for a place to call home "
Maelgwyn is a very adventurous, rebellious, and caring young fae, who is also very brave, selfless, strong-willed, independent, and loyal to his allies. He is friendly and willing to help strangers, especially if they are injured or lost. He is also very intelligent and skilled in technicians and magic. Despite his great intelligence and pragmatism, he can do very stupid and reckless things, such as him breaking the law countless times, which caused him to get into trouble. He is also fun-loving, jokey, sarcastic, mischievous, charismatic, and very dreamy. Lore: Maelgwyn’s memories as a hatchling are quite foggy. The fae could recall growing up with his ‘half-brother’, Ludwig, under the care of a Nightfall Imp yet doesn’t remember his parents or how he met Ludwig. Of course, growing up with a shadowy trickster like the imp, Maelgwyn picked up a few mischievous habits of his own and tended to play pranks on Ludwig while growing up after finding he had a particular talent for doing magic. Maelgwyn soon started traveling further, despite Ludwig’s initial protests that other flights could be dangerous, with the dream of using his magic to entertain with tricks as well as the main goal of helping others with it. While Ludwig decided to stay with an Ice clan, Maelgwyn found a place in the Adventurer’s Guild, as it gave him plenty of opportunities to meet new dragons, travel, and practice his sorcery. Not every dragon is fond of him however, as the young fae tends to get himself into trouble with rule breaking and doing reckless things from time to time. Still, he has a good heart and tries not to cause too much damage… or at least not permanent damage. Even with his busy life, he still makes time to keep in touch with his half-brother, which many dragons question if they’re really even remotely related based on Maelgwyn’s recounts of Ludwig, and the two occasionally meet up with each other face to face. At first it had been an adjustment to be away from the dragon he’d grown up with most of his life but the two share a bond that distance could never dream of breaking and the pair both know they’ll always reunite when time allows. Being a Sorcerer, Maelgwyn’s duty is to use his magic to help others as well as defend the Adventurer’s Guild if needed. He not only aids dragons in the guild but also travels Sornieth in order to explore and search for other dragons who might need his help. When he isn’t busy helping others or practicing spells, Maelgwyn is usually writing to Ludwig or plotting his latest idea of a joke on some poor unsuspecting target. However, other times he’ll disappear for a day to visit Ludwig at a meeting place half way between their respective homes. |
