 Messenger of the clan, Topaz is respected for her speed. Within seconds of receiving a message, Topaz can be seen shooting through the sky toward its recipient. Strangely enough, however, Topaz is not fond of letters. She has a strong belief that if she has something she needs to say to someone, she will go to them and say it rather than writing them a note, but this does not affect her willingness to deliver the notes others send. She enjoys the rush of trying to get from one place to another as quickly as possible as well as the opportunities to see other regions of the world when her clan mates have correspondences with dragons from other clans.

When she is not traveling at break-neck speeds, Topaz is a devoted mate to Morganite, a handsome imperial that guards the clan’s vault. Despite their size difference, the two pastel-colored dragons are very much in love and seem to be unable to spend enough time together though Topaz does not share Morganite’s need to keep things organized. Between them they have had and raised eight hatchlings of which they are incredibly proud. Topaz is especially proud of those of her children which is share her love for speed and enjoys racing her young children as they develop their flying skills while Morganite cruises along with them making sure that no one falls.
