Biography

Nyambi heralds from the land of fire, but she moved to the Labyrinth to train. She was a very dedicated student, always doing her best and earning the respect of her trainers. Eventually though, she felt the need to be more useful; after all there were already so many skilled fighters protecting this Nature clan. So she packed up and moved out, roughing it through the Shrieking Wilds until she came upon a pair of young tundras being harassed by wild beasts. Once she'd come to their aid and driven the beasts away, they invited her home with them. Nyambi fit right in with the other golden dragons here. Since coming to the Wildthyme, she has helped train countless young dragons for service with the Gladekeeper, as well as several of our more permanent residents. Nyambi has a special fighting style; she never does more damage than necessary, all her movements very precise and economic. She takes great pride in her skill and is admired by many of her clanmates for it. Her molten marauder is a memento of her days in the Ashfall Waste. As the fire representative on the Golden Council, she's proud of her heritage, but she prefers her life in the verdure of the Everbloom Gardens. When she's not actively training, she often comes out on gathering missions to help and protect. She gets to see all eleven corners of Sornieth while fulfilling her calling to fight for a cause. |

One day when Nyambi and her buddy Tattoo were out flying across the Blacksand Annex, there was a massive thunderstrike from out of nowhere. It hit them dead on and they were knocked to the ground in a pile of ash and wings, tingling all over from the pain of electrocution. "That doesn't normally happen in my home flight..." groaned Nyambi, trying to get up on limbs that suddenly seemed too long. "That's not what thunder feels like in my home flight!" grumbled Tattoo, confused by how clunky his snout suddenly felt. When they managed to rise from the ashes and got a first look at each other, they were shocked for the second time in as many minutes. "You look like me!" exclaimed Nyambi. "No, you look like me!" protested Tattoo. And that's the story of how two dragons set out one day as a nocturne and a skydancer, and came home later that day as a skydancer and a nocturne... |
