Alepo was raised on the run. Shortly before he was born, his father went missing. His mother, Rhaydris, waited only long enough for Alepo to be born. Then she took off to find her mate and bring him home. Alepo grew up away from the clan with only his mother, who wasnt in the mindset to raise a child. Alepo wasn't like her. He was soft, kind, shy. Rhaydris was frustrated, not only with her son, but with the on going search for her mate.

A friend from his days as an acolyte.
She still secretly worships the Lightweaver. Quiet and polite,
if subtly melancholic. Stands guard with Evo, just as loyal
and watchful as her mirror master.
Her mood can be determined by her brightness.

Upon finding Evo's fox hood, they feared the worse, and finally headed home. Evo was there waiting for them. The mirror refused to tell them what happened, or where he got his golden armor, but he was home and thats what mattered to Rhaydris. She wasn't happy about his new pacifist ways, but she was outnumbered. It turned out the new Evo had more in common with their shy son than his ferocious wildclaw mate.

Rhaydris wanted to follow their original plan and send Alepo to Shadowbinder. Evo wanted Alepo to have the choice. Instead he chose to be the lair's right guard. A while later, after years of trying, Verzei was born. Once again, Rhaydris insisted she train the young mirror to fight, and Verzei was eager to learn. But after a time, when the wildclaw wanted her to be exalted, Verzei refused. Rhayris was furious, but if Alepo didn't have to, why did she?

Calm and pleasant. Enjoys snacking while keeping Alepo company during his watch. Keeps friends warm by snuggling close.
Born to a mother hysterical with grief, Alepo was rushed through his hatchling years. He was barely adolescent when he left Isle Sombre on Rhaydris' back. Shepherded over churning waters and guided through dark forests, chased across plains by monsters and left cowering for his life while choking on ash. By the time they returned with only a bloody wolf pelt to show for their weeks of searching (which Alepo still wears), the damage had already been done. The amount of violence he'd seen outweighed any sort of affection he'd been given; Alepo could count the number of times he'd heard his mother say "I love you" on a single clawed hand. He stayed away from fighting after that, resisting his mother's efforts to turn him into a war machine. And, as it turned out, his father-- who feels more like a stranger than the drake that sired him-- was proud of him for becoming a member of the Harmonous faction. And one out of two was better than none.
