THE GARDENER
Being a wind dragon, wanderlust came naturally to Elke, as did the passion for effortlessly soaring high above the Earth on her pale, taupe wings. And yet, it had always been plant-life that had fascinated her the most. Even as a hatchling, she expressed a peculiar curiosity and appreciation for the flora her parents would feed her and the rest of her clutch.

She dispersed from her clan relatively early in life, as many wind dragons do, to travel the Sornieth.

At the beginning of her journey, she would have never expected that she would one day find herself in Dragonhome. At the time, she had plans to eventually settle someplace in the Viridian Labyrinth, but a trip to research desert flora led her to the Oasis Rock clan, which was in dire need of suitable sustenance for its plant-eating inhabitants. Elke felt moved to aid them with her plant-gathering knowledge, and suffice it to say, she's been here ever since.

Since then, she has led the effort to fertilize the Oasis Rock alongside Nerys and her doting mate, Grank; due to her knowledge and diligence in plant husbandry, the Oasis Rock remains green for most of the year, and very little outside foraging and gathering is ever done to meet the clan's needs.
