HER STORY

Once upon a time, Alassiel lived as a tundra. Born and raised in the ice fields, she feared little, and yet she had a gentle soul. She warmed the hearts of many, and protected all from the frigid night. One day, in winter's dark shadow, she did not return from foraging. The clan searched for weeks to no avail. Then, upon the darkest time on Sorenith, with the rise of the nocturnes, this frigid creature returned. No longer tundra, but nocturne, claiming to be the lost Alassiel, returned on silent wings to the clan. She bore a film of ice and immutable manacles. No dragon ever got the story behind what happened. Alassiel never spoke of anything beyond endless ice.
