Hestia: I heard you're pretty good at fighting! *cracks knuckles* Wanna go for a little bout?
Mulan: I'm sorry, but I'll have to turn you down. The kids are coming home soon and I really don't want to set a bad example.
Hestia: *leans on the wall and pokes at a painting* Don't worry, it'll be quick. :)
*Mulan proceeds to mutter something unintelligible.*
Hestia: What's that?
Mulan: Huo cong kou chu.
*Mulan leaps forward and strikes Hestia on the chest and neck. She parries a blow, then twists around and delivers a quick jab at Hestia's stomach. Blows follow, and soon, Hestia is holding her chest in her hands while attempting to keep balance with her staff.*
Mulan: In your language, it means don't stay stupid things or disaster will follow.
Unlike Ezo with his sword, Mulan prefers her bow and, occasionally, her fists. Unless there are dire situations, however, Mulan rarely displays her fighting prowess, instead deciding to work around the household and take care of her children when she's not defending the queen. She collects a basin of koi in the corner of their house and frequently has to deal with the clan's seafood tendencies.
Benvolio: Is that fish I smell?
Mulan: Nope. Absolutely not. There are no fish in this house. Go on, skedaddle. Goodbye!
Mulan is also very protective of her children. Though Soultap and Soulbond have grown up, she still chooses to dote over them whenever she has the opportunity. Soulbond doesn't seem to mind, but for Soultap... well...
Soultap: Mess with her again and I will personally-
Mulan: Soultap! Drink your soup! It's getting really cold, which is going to make it unhealthy. Also, when you're done, I've got some new sweaters I want you to try!
Soultap: ...
