Amun: You sure you want to continue doing this? You currently owe me all your money, your suit, your top hat, tonight's dinner, and a month's worth of service. Are you sure you want to continue betting?
Umbra: ...
Amun: ...there is no way you're getting all of my treasures, just saying.
Umbra: ...how much do you have again?
Amun: 12 mil and counting.
Umbra: ...hECK YEAH LET'S KEEP GOING!

After "Code Red", Stormtalon found and inlisted Amun to become the vault warden, just to make sure no funny business down. Aside from Athena, Amun's intelligence is unmatched in Goldenstorm. Whether if it's math, battle statistics, geography, weather, or board game skills, Amun pretty much has all of them mastered. If you want to get to the vault, you're going to have to get through the wildclaw. He might not have brute strength, but he has enough brainpower to shut you down before you even had a chance.

*Woodpecker sneaks in in the dead of the night and approaches the vault door. Suddenly, glowing eyes pierce the darkness and Amun steps out in his glory*
Amun: And what brings you here today, Woodpecker? Taking a midnight stroll?
Woodpecker: ...um...yep. I was just sleepwalking, and I ended up here. Sorry. I'll leave right now.
Amun: That would be wise. Leave me, I really need to sleep.
Woodpecker: Alright!
*Amun closes his eyes, and dozes off. Woodpecker waits for 30 minutes, then sneaks back. Seeing Amun curled up, he approaches the vault once again. Using a duplicate key, he unlocks the first door, then punches in the number lock on the second door. Finally, he unfurls a scroll, casts a rune, and gets past the third door and steps into the vault. After 1 hour, Woodpecker starts to walk out of the vault, coins jingling in his pouches.*
Amun: You know I'm not an idiot right? I changed the locks and passcodes as soon as you entered. Also, by the way, I enchanted your moneybags as you were punching in the passcode for the second door. What goes in the pouches will stay in the pouches. You couldn't take anything out even if you escaped. I'll let you out tomorrow morning. Toodles!

Aside from being an absolute nerd, Amun loves to gamble. However, most of the time he does so because he knows he's going to win. And possibly because he knows that some people are complete idiots.

Pantheon: ...tHAT'S A ROYAL FLUSH! HA! EASY GAME, GIMME YOUR CASH!
Amun: Pantheon your cards aren't in the same suit.
Pantheon: ...wait but I thought it was the same color...
Amun: ...sorry pal. Pay up.

Athena and Amun can be found staying up at late hours screaming about calculus or figuring out the amount of energy it takes to blow up an entire landmark. With Nightwing causing a ruckus with her obnoxious returns and Reaper doing late night fast food runs, it's surprising how any of us get any sleep at all.
