Little Hemlock In all of Outfit Vector there is only one dragon that hails from the Viridian Labyrinth, and his origin is the least of what makes him an outcast. Some blame the stagnant smell of marshy decay that hangs over him; others are put off by his strangely-timed silences and slanted stare, but in either case Wyod is almost universally avoided. His situation is not helped by being actively despised by Khatun Shiv, though her dislike stems almost entirely from racial prejudice against his homeland. The only dragon who doesn't seem to mind his presence is the Infector, Arcaza, who often employs him in collecting the plants and toxins she uses in her medicines. Despite his social isolation Wyod is quite happy to belong to the clan, and shows nothing but devotion for his adopted home. Given the cold reception he experiences within the lair, it isn't surprising that most of his time is spent on the job: tracking Beastclan and recording the locations of their homes and the movements of their warriors. He reports primarily to Viei. Their effectiveness as a unit isn't accidental; Wyod regards his partnership with Viei as one of pleasure instead of business, and goes so far as to think of the dragon as something of a mate. His familiar, Slakza, is one of the few that were not originally tamed by Viei. Wyod found her as a fingerling in the Gladeveins, or more accurately she found him, and then attached herself to his flank with her needle-like teeth. She aids her master in tracking any prey that have taken to water in hopes of escape. The prey in question then discover what a poor decision they have made.
