Name: I'm known by a few different ones depending on what point in time in Internet history, and what corner of the 'net you're in. ?I was also known as Küchenhexe (yes, the name should have the umlauts, though it's not always possible), Metathriving, and I was a fairly prolific fanficcer particuarly back in LJ's heyday prior to Strikethrough and while Journalfen was still going strong under the name Zanne Chaos. My NaNoWriMo account is still under that name, because I refuse to make a new one since that account is now over ten years old. I sometimes do go by other names, but that's when I don't want to be connected to me for whatever reason. In a few odd spots here and there, I also have the username Blau Drache or Die Blau Drache (the blue dragon).
Now, it's a reference to two women I admire greatly: Emilie Autumn and Lucy Burns. If I use a middle name at all, it's Betsy, a tip of the hat to the activism Betsy Ross group, although I'm not associated with them.
Activity Level: I honestly love FR and it's a great distraction and time sink for me. I don't always have the time to do more than dailies, or the energy, though. I tried for a while to be an active guild member and DOM contributor in Nature, which is my first, last, and only flight (My former username translates into kitchen witch, a very, very old term, sometimes called hearth witch or hedge witch, for what is now usually better known as a green witch. Very much associated with Nature.) I'm a very good leveler and I enjoy coli grinding. But circumstances and my brain power and overall attention and activity levels and real life requirements play a huge role in whether or not I can stay active or have the drive to stay active in that regard. I miss it, I miss the camaraderie and the friendships I'd formed, but I cannot emotionally be that reliable, or physically, due to health reasons.
Favorite Breeds: Imperials, Skydancers, Guardians, Pearlcatchers, Spirals, Fae. I admit that Coatls are now growing on me. SNEKS!
Least Favorite Breeds: These are breeds that I have to be really tempted for a specific reason to have in my lair, almost exclusively due to a skin or accent that I adore: Ridgebacks, Mirrors, Snappers.
About Me: White, cis, queer **, disabled, terminally ill, mentally ill, pro-science, pro-education, pro-diversity, pro-Death With Dignity, pro-bodily autonomy. I'm old enough to have seen SW:IV (A New Hope) in the theaters... the first time it was released. Granted, I was very young, but I was still old enough to enjoy it. It took a LOT of persuading to get my mom to let me watch Aliens when it was finally released on VHS (and we finally found a used copy because new VHS in those days were like $80USD) because I wasn't quite old enough, but man, I loved it. I watched it so much back then I literally had the entire movie memorized, start to finish. I'm feminine, but tomboy. Bright colors, and gothic. Flowing old Victorian gothic, and modern punk chic. I was nicknamed the Gothic Cowgirl in my senior year because I somehow managed to combine the all-the-rage cowgirl look of the early '90s (granted, I was in SE Texas at the time) with a gothic-isque look that still held shades of Stevie Nicks here and there. And made it work. You either love me or hate me, nobody falls in between. I don't get manipulated, and I don't play games, and have no time for either and will call it out. I have plenty of stuff to unpack, but I don't tolerate Tumblr quasi-justice or a fake sense of Woke that is totally lateral oppression. And white feminists, I will come and get you, my cousins, when I see you packing broken crap. And I've known since I was a child that all lives don't matter because I grew up experiencing that firsthand, despite my apparent privileges. Just enough to know the attempt at clapback is garbage.
