Wunjo only exists in four states of being: ready to fight, talking at a-hundred-miles-an-hour, reading a book or being unconscious. Like many Spirals, Wunjo is narcoleptic, so she can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. When she's awake, she talks, and she talks fast. She reads many books, and she has a lot to talk about them.
Her name comes from the rune meaning 'joy' and 'good fortune'. As such, she has a happy-go-lucky attitude to the point of being so sunshiny and bright on the battle field that she is annoying. She hums erratically under her breath, and practically dances as she fights.

She was one of the first members of the clan, as she was brought in as Haigal's girlfriend. Haigal was the offspring of the clan leaders at the time, Hexdagaz and Laguz. Together they had three children, and when Haigal left to fight under the Shadowbinder, Wunjo discovered that motherhood was Not Her Thing. Two of her offspring were sold and then exalted, but Algiz was loved by Wunjo's father-in-law, Laguz. As Algiz was her grandfather's favourite, she became something of a spoilt brat and a diva.

Wunjo became a guard for the clan, and swiftly became one of the finest warriors. For a long time her best friend was Hexdagaz, and they would talk for hours about books together. However, as she found her warrior skills increasing, she became closer to Inguz, the Wildclaw, and they became the closest of besties. Eventually she tutored him on his fighting style, helping it become more refined.
She had, once upon a time, come from the Windsweapt Plataeu, and as a Wind dragon she often makes return visits there. She learns how to fight using tools such as bamboo canes, and returns to the Tangled Wood to teach these skills to Inguz. She also recommends him books. Lots of books.

Wunjo spends a lot of her time within the dark cavern of the clan's lair, piling books in complex piles around her and reading them, almost devouring them, by Night Flame candlelight. In this ghostly purple flickering, she reads of epic tales of battles and monsters. She found she was reading books too quickly so she started to read scary ones to slow her pace down. Afterall, you cannot finish a book in under an hour if you are too scared to turn every page!

When Perthro joined the clan, Wunjo initially avoided her, not being the biggest fan of children. Perthro matured and won Wunjo's trust by taking an interest in Wunjo's fighting styles. One of the styles that she had learned at the Windswept Plataeu was a Spiral specialty, 'The Butterfly', maintained by rapidly and erratically beating all three sets of wings. Perthro liked the term 'butterfly', and as it was the Greenskeeper Gathering she brought Wunjo a gift, a mask that summoned butterflies to her. Both dragons have a love for entomology.

Hexdagaz and Laguz = First Gen
Hexdagaz, a large green Guardian, was born in the nature lands. She was a first gen dragon with shadow eyes, and very soon she was in a search for her Charge. She found him, a fae called Laguz, in the Shadow lands. Eventually they moved out of the shadow fae lair and made a clan together.
When they were piling driftwood together on the driftwood drag in hopes of making a lair, the Beta dragon Daegkiin appeared, and presented Hexdagaz with a Boolean, a vista and some magical skins.
Hex and Guz had children, and those children had children, and guards were hired, and eventually the clan was a neat group of six: three guards and three family members. The clan never got too large, as their driftwood home did not accommodate many dragons.

Anyoo: my hobbies include reading, gaming, scheming, more reading, procrastinating, coming up with good pranks, more scheming, more reading, and encouraging Guz whenever he has a new hobby." :D
