Butterwing

Uh-oh, looks like this sunny Coatl wandered a little too far from his home lair (217154, Shikokudarkstar), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Butterwing started out as a hatchling when he wandered out into the big bright world. His cheerful disposition causing him to seek out others to see. He wasn't totally unwanted in his clan but he thought there might be others to see and things to do. The world was a big place and his future seems so very bright. He said goodbye to his brother, Cyanmints and waved goodbye to his patriarch, Markuv, before setting off for a new adventure.

After travelling for some years, he came across an Earth clan. His visit there was especially memorable - he saw a dragon who could only speak backwards, a fae who could resurrect the dead, and he went on an excavation of an ancient tomb together with a small band of mercenaries. Times were quite intriguing, and they were lucky to survive - had he not been able to dodge that huge, conveniently round rock that chased him down a strangely cramped corridor... ah, memories!

Returning home had been great. Butterwing found himself back into the maze of the Arcane lands before going home to his own cavern. There he started a family and while most of his hatchlings moved on, his daughter Fireblood stayed. However, a great famine hit the caverns and Butterwing watched as many of his fellow dragons sought out other caves to live in. The watchful eyes of Markuv hated to see them go and Butterwing hated to leave but he needed to go out on his adventures once more and perhaps he would come back to SnowStone when the cave wasn't under such strain.

Butterwing soon ended up in a nature clan, first off though he was caught and lost for hours in the large dense forests surrounding the clan. He was found by the guardian at the entrance named Leafrot, who had taken him in and brought him to the leaders Leuan and Aislinn. Soon after he was getting shown around and he had met many other of the dragons and even 3 other travelers. He seemed to only have a problem with one in particular, the female ridgeback named Odalis, who always seems to dislike newcomers and travelers.
He got taught some useful skills before getting told that this nature clan was going to be moving somewhere new, he was a little worried at first but soon got used to the idea.
Sooner or later the clan, also known as "The Lioness's Clan" had re-located over to the Plague region, many of the dragons, including him took a little while to get used to this weird change of place but they soon got used to it.
About a week in the new Plague location, Butterwing thought that it would be great to head off and try to find somewhere new, he liked this clan but still wanted to learn more about anything he could, he was grateful for everything that he was taught in this lair and after saying goodbye, he headed back off into the big world, wondering where he will end up next....
Once more he arrived in an Arcane lair. The dragons here were a bizarre assortment of misfits and wanderers. Here he met a pair of pearly twins who saw the future, an adorable eldritch monstrosity, a possessed mummy, a dragon who seemed to think she was a flower, and an endless parade of such unusual creatures. However, his curiosity eventually put him at odds with the leaders adopted daughter, and he was forced to move on...

There doesn't seem to be anything worthy of his delicate palette here. He must move on now, while he still has some energy left...
