76Jj7E6.jpg There is fresh sod all around the camp today.
It's nice and neat and soft, and already long enough to get your toes lost in. Dragons take to sneakily froclicking, unsure as to whether they're supposed to roll around on the fresh grass or not. Of course, they do so anyway.
Soon all the sod has been trampled, and the flat grass is half buried beneath a layer of mud.
There is fresh sod again the next week.

Grass likes to plant things. This is evident when you look at him; there's grass sticking out all over his fur. All he needs to do to get a fresh supply of sod going is to pluck out some grass roots from behind his ears and put them down in a safe, shady spot. Does this mean unlimited grass? Yes, yes it does. Does this mean the herbivores of the clan are never hungry? Mysteriously, no, it does not.

Grass's favorite assignments are when he's working alongside Pewter. He landscapes all the yards that Pewter has made in front of his hobbit-holes, and plants gardens on the roofs, too. When he needs a new supply of different plants, he visits Aura's little square of forest to see what she has. Sometimes he winds up 'accidentally' smuggling seeds out in his fur.

Since the move to dragonhome, Grass has been more useful to the clan than ever. He transformed their little home in front of the cliffs of cairnstone into a paradise filled with vegetation. Of course it's not as vibrant as their old territory back in nature, but it makes the camp feel much more comfortable.
