The adopted son of Starlake, she had gone out searching for new flowers to plant and found him instead. Lost and alone she was a welcome sight that quickly fussed over his messy feathers. He had been abandoned by his parents in the plaguelands, and gladly followed her back to the warm valley filled with the sound of chimes and bamboo.

Polpo has come across the habit of happily humming as he follows his mother around while she plants or flies with Gyro. Starlake has been known to join him in songs, and sometimes even Gyro cannot resist the melody.
