» everything that looks at him sees him differently. his appearance is perceived depending on how said individual feels abt him. ex: if theyre afraid of him, he may appear more intimidating, and vice versa. people may see him with different antler type/shape, face and body structure, etc. his genes and eyes are what stays constant throughout. » started out as a mirror. came from a very wealthy and well taken care of clan, where his parents were higher ups. something lame happens to where his mother or smthn was meant to be an imp but gave the scroll to sai instead??? who knows. she wanted him to escape or some lame stuff. » after becoming an imp, was exiled due to the clans beliefs around scroll magic. had to leave his mate behind and wandered aimlessly on his own. » crossed paths with Hanahli while travelling. she teaches sai the Ways of an Imperial. » Hanahli has a vision, giving directions to sai that he has to travel further to an Unknown Land on his own o: wow » somethign happens where sai gets ambushed or smthn yada yada i need to flesh this part out » ophelia found him exhausted and near death. she usually does not help the dying from other clans, but since he was a wanderer/an exile like everyone else in the clan, she was prepared to help him along & to be exalted. » basically some messed up garbage happens where the whole clan finds out about it and due to unpopular demand decide to try everything they could to help him. (blame oberon he started preaching on how he was a prophet since.. an imp?? wandering?? yeah right dude ok) » oberon & crow began calling upon their gods or whatever and they believe sai's slow but full recovery was a gift of their god & began to inhabit sai - which changed his appearance drastically (colors & all his... eyeballs) » long story short sai basically ascended & is now considered a demi god & is worshiped throughout the clan the end
