Tanis

Tanis is Gavins adopted daughter and was the first hatchling in the clan. Sometimes she still finds herself treated as one by the adult dragons from the first wave. Her brother Terra was lost very early on, and despite the support of her loved ones, she never stopped mourning him.

Tanis is a stalwart second in command to Gavin, and an optimistic believer in the values of her clan. She enjoys fighting in the Coliseum, and goes every chance she can get. However, managing her ever-growing clan has left her with less and less time for herself. She appreciates that her mother gave her this job as a sign of respect and faith that she could handle the responsibility, but still, Tanis finds herself pining for the days when she had more freedom. She can't help but feel restricted. Luckily, she has her two closest friends, Zusu and Paz, to ground help her.

Tanis is fiercely proud of her own children and grandchildren, and offers herself as a confidant and helper to each one of them. Most of her descendants are rigid followers of the coliseum, and sometimes she can't help but feel envious, but she never lets it get in the way of her love for them.
