 "What? You think I'm afraid to turn this white belly brown? Har har har!"

Jakob is the second child of Jasper and Innes, and while he does treasure his inherited strength unlike his older brother, he too does not use it for combat. Rather, Jakob takes great pride in digging out and customizing the space of the clan lair, carving out rooms for new occupants in a fraction of the time it took the clan leaders to build the original foundation.

He can also be described as eccentric and showy, always taking the opportunity to show off his strength and digging efficiency to potential mates. It actually did work once, leading to a relationship with the clan's head hatchlingsitter, Moo, but they had a falling out after realizing that they were only really in love with each other for their appearances. However, the two are still good friends.

Though he'll never admit it, he strongly looks up to his older brother and even reads some of Joker's work on parenting and bonding with your child to better his relationship with his own son.
