Daphne was born into the Clan. She is very close to her twin sister Dahlia. As a hatchling, she loved exploring the Garden with her sister. Unlike her sister, who then went on to turn that passion into a love for exploration and cartography, Daphne simply loved flowers and plants. As an adult she volunteers in the Garden with Rico whenever she can. The rest of the time she works closely with Hyperion in farming some of the Clan's primary exports.

Daphne occasionally accompanies her sister on expeditions. She's very good friends with Swash and played a big part in setting him up with Yelena. Since she was born into the clan, Daphne speaks exclusively draconic and has no knowledge of the coatl language.
