Ferret is one of many who practices dark arts; necromancy is his personal specialty. He communicates with spirits and auras, mostly, instead of forcing the dead to rise, as he claims they greatly prefer that to resurrection. He is highly respectful of the dead's wishes, sometimes even more so than the living's. Despite his morbid work, he is an incredibly charming coatl with a knack for flirting and gambling.

He tends to act as a divine. He asks the dead and devils for future predictions, though he tends to receive rather mixed messages or random sounds instead. He does not always charge for his work, considering how random the outcome of his answers are. On occasion, he will act as medium for paying customers to communicate with lost friends or family, but he tends not to offer such a service unless it is to put the mind of the dead or the living to rest. He finds the emotional toll too high for most, and he hates to see others in such low states.

Despite his title, he assures he has never bedded with any of the spirits he comes in contact with.
