Sensitive, unconventional, flexible
As a Plague dragon, Jewel can easily pick up on the scent of corruption and rot. Many of her kind revel in it and spread it, but since that's culturally unacceptable in the Starfall Isles, she uses her talent in a more constructive way.
The Empyreal clan's clearing is a busy place. Between the manufacturing, personal homes, and foot traffic, there's a fair amount of pollution generated. It would build to problematic levels if it weren't for Jewel's help.
She regularly patrols Empyreal territory, searching for any suspicious scents. If mold is growing inside homes, or waste materials accumulating beneath a workshop, she pinpoints its exact position. If it's small, she can root it out herself. She calls in Sigyn to unearth large deposits. Cyrus then cleanses or destroys the offending substances.
Her detection powers are relatively mundane for a Plague dragon, but the Arcane dragons are impressed by them. To dragons without those senses, it seems as if she practically reads the earth. Some have even called her a geomancer, and the name's stuck.
