Aurelia is a leader of The Conflagrant Caravan. They manage the finances, do the administrative work, and make sure everything is running smoothly- or at least as smoothly as possible. They get clearances for the caravan to set up in other clans' territories, they ensure things in need of fixing get fixed, and they (try to) keep the caravan staff from going entirely off the rails. Sometimes, this means ruining Albion, Hazel, and Nero's fun. Seriously, sparring is a safety hazard. If they just set up a stage, it would be fine.

They're an organized and efficient dragon, but they can come off as cold. In reality, they're just awkward and a bit shy. Aurelia always has things to do, and has trouble relaxing or letting themself have fun. Most of the long-time caravan members know this, and try their best to help out. They view the caravan as their family.

Long Form Poetry Trinkets An impressively long poem telling the legend of the First Four dragon gods. Generations have colored the tale to be more cynical and critical. 41

Caravan Management These dragons work hard to keep the caravan running as it should. They chart paths, meet with other clans, and settle disputes. Though they handle official business, they're volunteers and are not considered clan leaders. They may have some of the most "boring" caravan jobs, but they keep it going.

Aurelia • Caravan Director A studious administrator. They contact clans about the caravan and where it can set up, do administrative paperwork, and ensure that everyone is compensated. Orsino • Fire Representative He ensures that the clan's home in the Ashfall Waste is well taken care of, and is a diplomat of the Fire flight. Orsino is known for being passionate, but polite. Melba • Navigator He finds safe paths through the territory of other flights, and serves as Tourmaline's assistant. Despite his active work, Melba is a laid-back dragon.

Hazel • Guard Captain An energetic duelist that protects the caravan from danger. Hazel technically commands the other guards, but in actuality the guards make decisions as a group. Agate • Assistant He does the simple but essential task of cleaning litter and helping to put up and break down tents. Other dragons can always count on him. Tourmaline • Messenger He carries letters and packages between the Conflagrant Caravan's home and the caravan itself, as well as between the caravan and other clans. Has his head in the clouds in more ways than one.

Craftsdragons These dragons create wonderful works of art, tools, and other fantastic creations to sell at the caravan's various stops. Most of the artisans make their own goods, but others also carry the finest crafts that Fire flight has to offer, to support artisans who aren't able to travel with the caravan.

Triton • Clothier He sews all manner of brilliant apparel for sale, and ensures that all members of the caravan have comfortable and beautiful costumes. Caravan members come to him to talk. Oculus • Jeweler Her jewelry is some of the most detailed you can find, made of materials from all around Sornieth from bone to gems. Oculus is like an encyclopedia. Alrain • Smith The only dedicated smith in the Caravan (a fire clan!), Alrain is eager to learn from other clans. Her weapons and armor are true to Fire-flight reputation. Lance • Chandler He makes candles and incense in all manner of scents and designs. Though he looks intimidating, he's just shy. Cadmia • Stoneworker She carves elemental runestones, statuettes, and other stone trinkets. Cadmia is as stiff as the stone she carves, but her heart is gold.

Asconce • Potter She makes all manner of mosaics, tiles, vases, and pottery glazes. Asconce is sweet, but a bit reclusive. Viva • Calligrapher Most of his scroll cases and calligraphy are decorative, but he offers element-resistant cases for traveling dragons as well. He also writes poetry. Viva is a calm, collected dragon. Triassic • Metalworker She's Oculus' partner in crime when it comes to making jewelry. Triassic tends to work with wire and other metals. She's precise and detailed in everything she does. Crown • Glassblower Crown combines the expertise of Fire and Lightning in her colorful glass art. She knows almost every secret of the trade, but getting her to tell is a different story altogether. Elm • Painter A patient, cheerful teacher. She makes wonderful paintings, on canvas and on patron's scales! Elm also teaches craft classes to hatchlings.

Circus Performers One of the Caravan's most famous attractions is its circus, a flamboyant, fiery performance held in a mobile amphitheater. It features acts from blade dancing to familiar training, to acrobatics. Not all of the Caravan's performers are part of its circus, but many are.

Albion • Ringmaster A loud, boisterous dragon with a sense of humor, Albion is well-suited to being the circus' ringmaster. He keeps the circus running. Galtan • Familiar Tamer His acts range from handling a maned cobra to showing off the might of a wartoad. Galtan isn't great with dragons, but he's fantastic with familiars. Blys • Aerialist An aerialist brave enough to perform during Malris' volatile magic acts. They mix traditional acrobatics with difficult flight stunts. Draste • "Magician" Draste's "magic" is actually performance art- he isn't good at spellcasting or sleight of hand tricks. Instead, he pretends to do magic. It's a hit, somehow.

Viran • Musician Viran uses their spectral hands to play many instruments, providing orchestral accompaniment to the circus. They are the only musician, after all! Warlord • Sword Dancer A show-off at heart, Warlord is meant for the stage. He performs stage-duels, dances with swords, and does dagger-throwing. Malris • Sorcerer Malris is an impulsive disaster. He's deeply cursed, but his cursed magic makes for a fantastic fireworks show. He's extra-proud of his multicolored fire. Nero • Jester He isn't the best jester, but he has the spirit! Unbeknownst to caravan-goers, Nero is the most seasoned warrior of the caravan.

Flamerest Embers Organics Due to their long-lasting warmth, it is a common to see both dragons and serthis gathering these curious embers for use in the persistent heating of lairs or cauldrons. 41

Other Performers These performers set up mobile stages across the fairgrounds, outside of the circus' amphitheater. Wandering visitors can stop to watch without buying tickets for a seat, and can carry on at any time.

Estos • Firebreather A brash, well-loved firebreather. They trained Calidus, and work alongside him. The duo is sometimes joined by Galtan's familiars. Calidus • Firebreather A former guard turned performer. He and Estos work together, trading blasts of fire and swinging lit batons.

Vespa • Dancer A luxurious, sparkling dancer. He does acrobatic performances during the day, and returns to the ground to dance at night. Lovelace • Puppeteer Lovelace commands a variety of puppets, from plushes to jointed marionettes. Her tiny theater showcases tales of Sornieth myth and stories.

Smolderpetal Plant Easier to gather than the speckled fire lily, this hardy flower tastes absolutely divine after a good roast. 37 4

Cooks The Caravan's most famous attractions are its circus and artisans, but it wouldn't be a good fair if there weren't some tasty treats! These dragons bring the delicacies of Fire flight to the world, whether its dessert or spices. You can't get a good Potash Peach elsewhere!

Odd • Herbalist This eccentric dragon's tent looks more like a fiery jungle, given the amount of plants. Odd sells teas, spices, and herbal remedies, as well as potted flowers. Harvest • Pastry Chef Working alongside their mate, Carnelian, Harvest prepares mouthwatering pastries- their specialty is potash peach tarts with smolderpetal glaze! Carnelian • Fair Chef While Harvest specializes in pastries, Carnelian makes fair food- roasted nuts, funnel cakes, and caramel apples. The smell of their cooking drifts across the fairgrounds.

Calomel • Herbalist A curious but cautious apprentice to Odd, the herbalist. Calomel takes care of potted plants, dries out teas and herbs, and grinds spices. Cepla • Baker She bakes all sorts of treats, along with Windsoul. Cepla is a surprisingly bitter dragon, for someone who makes such sweet food! Windsoul • Baker Windsoul has a flair for the dramatic, and decorates Cepla's cookies, cakes, and pies with all manner of extravagant, edible designs.
