Sienna 
"That's why Valentine 'n I are the best pair! He's afraid of bugs, and bugs are scared of me!"
Abandoned for reasons long forgotten, an intermingling tribe of bats and other Fae dragons hatched Sienna's lone egg and brought her up as a cave-dweller. She is incredibly energetic and athletic and, while hunting over the sea one evening, met her mate Valentine. The couple then stumbled across Stoneflight and Stormtail, and, wanting to help found a new clan, officially registered the Diadem Caverns with the pair of Guardians. Since then, they have been busy raising hatchlings and the occasional full-grown clan member.

Valentine visibly flinched backwards as a group of enemies approached, eyes darting to and fro around the small clearing of crystal spires he and his mate were defending.
"Okay," chirped his Fae mate, Sienna, as she glided easily down from a crystal perch towards the intruders, "all you gotta do is this," she focused for an instant, casting a Rally, "this," she charged forward, scratching, "and this!" she eliminated the Moonbeam Crayfish with a small twirl of grace.
She gave him a twitchy smile (still not used to it after all her years of only using her fins) and nodded her head at the Crystalplate Stinger approaching, flying quickly over the warm, midday ground with a menacing buzz.
The Nocturne flinched as its hexagonal eyes locked onto his, and he was abruptly paralyzed, unable to move from his corner of the clearing.
Sienna sighed and made quick work of the enemy for her mate. "If you can't keep going, we'll just find another venue for you to specialize in, huh?"
The monochrome Fae turned to face their intern, gliding around the clearing.
"And, hey Rurbie, sorry about," she gestured a wing around the venue, "this."
The intern Spiral shook her head. "It's fine," she soothed, nestled into a crook between two jags of crystal with a notebook and pen in claw.
Flushing, the pink Nocturne ducked his head into his pink silk scarf. He loved his pink silks (they were so soft and comfy and stylish) and was eager to gain more, but all these insects were freaking him out. He loves feasting on insects, don't get him wrong, but have them smaller than him and already dead, please.
Sienna let out an oddly stilted laugh at her mate's reaction. She easily glided over to him, perching on a crystal outcrop that reached Valentine's stiff-set shoulders.
"Look," she poked her mate affectionately with an outstretched wing. "I know we said that I wanted to specialize in the Roost and you said you were interested here, but how about we compromise?"
"How?" Valentine tilted his head, inquiringly, and attempted to mimic Sienna's behavior by flashing neck frills he didn't have.
"We switch venues. You take the Roost and I'll handle the Crystal Pools."
"...Are you sure you want to take here? You were pretty gung-ho about the Roost."
Don't make me the reason you're changing.
Sienna nodded her assent. "Yeah. I think I mostly fell in love with the Roost because it was the first venue I was in, to be honest. Plus," her (beautiful) Light eyes shone with enthusiasm and her fins were twitching with energy, "everything's so shiny here! And it looks super cool at night, too," she added, an afterthought.
Valentine shoved his snout forward, nuzzling his mate's face for a few seconds. "Sounds good."
Returning the nuzzle for only a brief moment, the Fae dashed off the outcrop and was in the center of the clearing in a flash.
"You've still got a long way to go if you wanna get there, Mister!" She called out behind her back, teasingly. "Did you even see your last Scratch? C'mover here and give me twenty."
Valentine groaned good-naturedly and sauntered over to where his mate was hovering.
"And don't think I've forgotten about you, intern! I need fifteen Slashes, stat!"
Rurbie snapped to attention, shutting her notebook closed with a clunk.
"Ma'am, yes ma'am!"

When he'd first heard of it from Li when Sienna was completing her training ("It is a very logical exercise, you must agree," she'd insisted in her deep, rich accent, "as we must truly appreciate the loved ones, from whom we draw strength from and whom we are gaining strength for, by their total absence as we reach our ultimate goal."), it hadn't really struck him. He thought it'd mean maybe a week, tops.
