Biography
S E A M O N A R C H Everyone's Edgy Friend Consultant Antisocial / Weathered / Shady / Weird Murmurs echoed around the clearing, Ameyla stood in the middle, carrying with him a tiny white bundle, crying softly. SeaMonarch sat in the back, watching from afar, he studied Ameyla with inquisitive eyes. Quiet, Quiet-QUIET!" Jurny, who just flew in, yelled as she landed softly on the firm ground. Stalking like a swift scaleback, she walked straight toward Ameyla, who regarded her courteously. lifting his gaze, he carefully pulled the tiny bundle from under his wing, the whole group of dragons watched him with unrestrained wonder. All ears turned and mouths shut, SeaMonarch rapidly, yet clandestinely crept through stalks of leaves, and stopped when he was within a few meters length from Ameyla. He struggled to contain his own wonder. Ameyla cradled the bundle like it was worth his own life, within it was a tiny hatchling, a whitish fae. Jurny thrust her head toward it, squinting at the baby fae. It only cried out in distress. "Jurny you are scaring her," Ameyla breathed, setting the fae to the ground, "should we keep her?" It didn't even have a name, SeaMonarch thought, he wished that he had a better affinity for names. Scogel stepped forward and matched gazes with Jurny, "Who's gonna take care of it-I mean, her?" "I will." The voice was barely heard by most of the clan, but the source of it repeated itself, so everyone's gazes turned to a small male fae near the front of the circle of dragons. "SeaMonarch?" Jurny turned her judgmental eyes slowly to the sound, squeaky and uncertain. "I'll take care of her." He walked toward the towering mirror, lifting his head more to be more clear. "Alright, but I don't take you for a nurse mother." Ameyla responded softly, and with wisdom. "I can do it," SeaMonarch paused, "Just let me do it." He walked up to the fae and said one word definitely to the hatchling. "Zetonah," she returned his gaze, "That's what I'll call her." 1 year later Zetonah had become so much, and SeaMonarch felt very proud. She battled the monsters and voiced her concerns when most dragons would find it smart to stay quiet. He had always sunk into the background; he was never really a fighter. Every dragon in the clan somehow respected the small white fae. She was the right-hand dragon to Jurny, the current co-leader. She often sat on her shoulder, advising her. Zetonah never really thanked SeaMonarch for giving her the chance to forge her own path. Though to be true, SeaMonarch didn't want her to. Their relationship was mostly platonic, but still love. Due to that, it broke SeaMonarch's heart to see her leave. She announced to the clan that she had felt the call to exaltation that morning. it was the first time SeaMonarch could recall really crying. The clan would lose a warrior, but SeaMonarch lost something more. He went into even deeper hiding after that, rarely ever visiting with his own clan. Though his grief didn't last forever. He moved on, with help from counseling with Skyla and Heart, he found himself again. Numbers and paperwork became his friend, solid work to make a living. He hopes it is what Zetonah would've wanted for him. 1 pick Template byComatoseLuna |
