Underneath Epsilon's wing is a young Nocturne hatchling, hiding away from the world. His innocent eyes tell a story otherwise unheard of within the desolate reaches of the Zone. Only in the most secluded of areas is Tau allowed to emerge, playing in the dust and with whatever random scraps his father ties together to make rudimentary toys.

Tau is aware that his life is one of near-constant danger. He tries his best to follow his father's instructions and stay hidden from strangers.

eBHC472.png His father is unaware of the concern Tau feels for him, believing Tau to not know the difficulties and risk both of them face in their daily lives. Epsilon does everything he can to shield his hatchling from the grim realities of the Zone.

This little hatchling spends the time he has with his father trying to cheer him up. Tau looks forward to the small smiles his antics earn, and hopes that one day him and his father can spend their days in the sunlight.
