I believed in you. But you started keeping secrets, until they were standing between us like a wall. It became too much for you, and so you abandoned me. A stab into my back colder than any betrayal I had experienced to date.

And yet, I yearn to see you again, to forgive your betrayal and start anew. Too much I care for the human you once were, that I overlook the monster you've become. Some call it denial, I call it being faithful. No matter how much you'll keep hurting me, I'll always cherish you.
