Biography
Cymophane might have been born a steadfast Earth dragon, but he had the mindset of that of a Light dragon and the curiosity of an Arcane dragon. While he looked for texts that he had yet to read, he didn't shy from learning more about anything that caught his attention, even if no one seemed to know much about that 'anything;' it really only made him more excited to learn. His curiosity was not contained to a single subject. No, it spanned everywhere, from times of old to the present, from plants to animals, from the rocks of the mountains to the depths of the seas. He even learned how to use a dash of magic and the about the stone that he was named for.
In time, Cymophane became a very knowledgeable dragon, having read nearly every piece of script there was to be found in Dragonhome and heard nearly many of the tales the elders of his clan had stored in their heads, a considerable feat since they seemed to have centuries-worth of stories to tell. When new knowledge became harder and harder to come by, he started looking for a new source to gather knowledge from, and that meant leaving his home territory.
After spending much time contemplating where he should go, Cymophane decided to come to the Windswept Plateau when he heard that the Wind Beat Clan had many scrolls and such in their possession, but no one to really, truly care for them. Such a cruel thing, to let the storage of knowledge simply waste away from neglect! It was too horrendous a plight for the learned dragon to ignore and he immediately went to join the clan, and there he stayed for a while.
Of course, the time came when he had learned all that he could from the Wild Beats, and once again he looked for another place to go. Where would he go? What would draw him? That was something he didn't yet know, but he was determined to learn the answer to it soon.
{adopted on 10/9/15 - Altair #3622}
In his wanderings he found himself not too far from his previous home, and that surprised him. For some reason no matter where he went, he found himself drawn back to the breezy winds of the Plateau, though maybe this would change sooner or later. He found himself lingering in an old Wind clan, older than many others that were scattered within this realm. While they didn't really have a name to call themselves, Cymophane found them very friendly and some very knowledgeable. The age of this clan allowed for him to learn even more compared to the previous clan he was in, but because they were of the same Flight, he could only learn so much before the scrolls crossed stories with each other. He knew then that he had learned all he needed to know, and it was time to move on.
