Mages and acolytes hurried to the site whilst plumes of dark matter streaked across the night sky. The plumes of eerie matter acted as telescopes, allowing once faded, dying stars to shine like never before, & be visible to naked eye. The dragons, including Deimos, rushed to the edge of a huge crater, pieces of the Observatory’s foundation crumbling inward. From the abyss of the crater, a lone figure emerged, his scales pulsating in the same dark magic as Deimos’. The figure marched up to Deimos, his shadow eyes pooling with curiosity. “I thought I’d never find you, cousin…” A few faces grew pale, and faints gasps echoed upon the realization of whom this stranger truly was. As if the cosmos hadn’t had their fill of sending dark dragons to the clan, here came another one. “When I got word of what happened to you, that you crashed here, I thought that this would be the only chance I’d get. I am Diaval, first cousin of your mother. But you probably don’t remember, that’s for your own good.” he sighed. Diaval’s gazed shifted to the dragons of Thunder-Arrow, and he lowered his head slightly. “Mages and masters of the Blinding Stars, I have heard of your sheer power and magic. My cousin doesn’t remember but our kin are acolytes of the Dark Galaxy, vile drakes from another dimension, another time. Their dark magic seeped into your clan not long after Deimos settled here.” Deimos took a step back, shocked over learning his heritage. Diaval turned back to him. “But he is not to blame! The Dark Galaxy has infected many before this clan, and because of the immense arcane power here, they would’ve come regardless… I have come to redeem us from our family’s past. If Thunder-Arrow will have me, I seek to rewrite the stars, as they should be, free from that dark path…." "I am armored in unbreakable scales, and I want to help this clan armor themselves against what is to come…"
