"And how does that make you feel?"

It was hard for Cita to leave her fiery home in the Emberglow Hearth in the Ashfall Wastes, but she was intrigued by Ez's talk of a place where coatl would be free to pursue their studies and dreams. Her dream is the study of psychology, as she loves analyzing the personalities and quirks of other dragons. Cita enjoys putting the more boastful members of the clan in their place - she has a special talent for deflating inflated egos.

She is equally skilled at helping to rebuild broken psyches, and dragons who have suffered unendurable traumas have found their pain greatly eased after several sessions spent in her calming company. Winternight in particular has made great strides thanks to her ministrations. He was one of her most challenging patients but also one of her greatest success stories. Though he is largely recovered, she still has regular sessions with him to help shore up his mental and emotional health.

She made a nest with an itinerant dragon so that she could experience courtship and motherhood to satisfy her own curiosities on the matter, but her experiments confirmed to her that she prefers to be unencumbered by mate and offspring. Regardless, she is fond of her children and will always be there to offer them sage advice should they visit her to hear it.

Her curiosity extends to the studies of other dragons, as she believes all fields have implications for psychology. She has often befriended traveling scholars, including a sociologist and political scientist whose study of the clan led to her revise some of her techniques and to council Eztli as to some matters he could be handling more effectively as the leader of the coatl colony.

After spirits came to reside in the clan, she began studying their psychological habits and how they differed from those of dragons, both in case any spirits might call upon her services and out of simple academic curiosity.
