Kryoskharon

Kree-Ohs-Kaw-Rohn (But called "Kharon" by those who know him, though he prefers "Kryos.")




His parents' eighth child and second son. The first of the absolute smokiest form of Pack Ghost. Unlike most of his family, however, he isn't passive or silly. Rather, he had always been distant and cold.

One day, he disappeared from the pack altogether. While he still resides in the Southern Icefield, and still uses his smoky, ghostlike form to his advantage, and even still claims to be a ghost, he is a solitary one. And he has become a spirit of death, often appearing in blizzards and watching grimly as travelers freeze to death. Whether or not he creates the blizzards is anyone's guess, but in all likelihood -- especially given his keen ability to go unseen in a flurry -- he is simply the last one to see those dying from the cold off from this world -- a sort of psychopomp. And, in fact, he has his own local tales about him, now.

The Cold Reaper. The Snowstorm Phantom. The Blizzard Ghost. The Doom of Travelers. The Whiteout Spirit. The names vary. One thing is certain, however. If you're caught in a snowstorm and you see him, your fate is surely sealed.

The problem is that he's actually become a psychopomp, serving the courts of the dead. As such, he is no longer a Pack Ghost, his body having steadily faded into a spirit.
