Biography

Whirlwind

Head of Gathering of the Twilight Circle
Quote:
Found as a young hatchling, Whirlwind was quickly brought into the group.

Whirlwind is proud, and a bit stubborn. He likes to be right, and doesn't want to admit his mistakes. However, it seems like he has his eye on a dragon around his age. The only problem for him is that he didn't want to admit it to her, because he didn't know how she would react. However after finally admitting it, he found out that she didn't mind or care that much.

Whirlwind never liked being told what to do, ever. He didn't like being told his limitations of the skills he lacked, and because he was often told these things, he got used to blocking out what other dragons would say. He was happier this way and liked it.
That was most likely the reason he got lost.

Not paying attention to his clan's warnings, he wandered off when he wanted to see more of the wisp willow grove. He had already wandered off to far before realizing he had entered the driftwood drag. It seemed darker here, and all he had was his pearl.

"Hello? Is someone there?" He called out. It was silent. If he had only listened to his clan... Whirlwind didn't believe it to be entirely his fault, as most of the stuff they said wasn't worth it, he figured it would be easy to miss.

He sat there, waiting for what would happen. If he were lucky, the Shadowbinder would guide him to safety. If he wasn't...
He had heard stories of the beastclans, and how horrible they were. The more he thought of it, the more he felt like a target.
I'm going to die here.

"I'm lost?" He called out again, although it came out as more of a question.
"You're lost?"
A female voice spoke from somewhere he couldn't see. Who said that? Searching around, his eyes landed on a skyblue Fae.

"So you're lost then. Abandoned of voluntary?"
Responding with 'voluntary,' the Fae looked like she was thing about something.

"So you didn't like your clan?"
With a shake of his head, he could see the fae smile.
"How about you live here. I left my clan too, for whatever reason you left, I'm sure it would be different here."

Whirlwind nodded, and was led to the main part of the Twilight Circle. He liked this fae. She didn't tell him what to do as much as the others, she let him make his own choices.

The next day, a spiral named Toxin joined the circle. Around the same age as him, he took interest in her.
"Go away."
That seemed to be her response to everyone else. One day, he decide to approach her.
"Hi, I'm Whirlwind."
She looked at him, gave a slight smile and said, "So you're the only other hatchling here? I'll see you around." She then walked off, leaving him. He was glad she hadn't told him off. The next days and weeks though were slightly different. He didn't know why, but the more he tried to spend time, the more she avoided him. This went on for sometime, until at last, their friendship started to form again.

He didn't know about her, but for him it was love. A dragon like me, in love? I think I'm really glad I joined here.

The next day, he approached her about this.
"I know that, I'm not stupid," she replied, then added, "you aren't that bad yourself."
They spent more time together, and eventually had three children. Toxin had made it clear she wouldn't consider herself as their mother, and he knew that. It was the appearance of the hatchlings that worried him.

"They look like this!" She said towards him. Looking at their daughter, she said, "Her name is Lilli."
The other two were spiral males. As much as he hated to admit it, they looked, well ugly. But they were his children. The next day, she told him their names were Aimless and Overcast. Though by the time it was announced, they were referred to as Eyeburn and Umbra, the nicknames stuck better.
It was also at this time that Lilli had mysterious dissapeared.
Looking at the other two, he knew he would make sure that only Toxin would be able to ever say anything bad about them.
