Stormcircuit

Stormcicuit had always been mistaken for one of his dark coloured siblings back in his home in lightning. Their family had been outcastes by most Coatls for generations due to the colorations their body and wings shared, and Stormcicuit was no different.

He found himself even worse, actually.

He was tired of hiding out with the rest of his family, and he hated looking exactly like one of them.

So he left, flew west, and ended up in shadow's domain, and eventually in the Twilight Circle. Twinkle had accepted him straight from the get-go, so now he just wanted to make his mark, prove he was worth it.

With the help of Twinkle and Stormwater - Twinkle's son, he was able to change his look, dawning marks of lightning and the night sky.

He was happy that way, he was comepletly a new dragon in his own eyes.

The 'new' part of it is what inspired him.

Coming originally from the lighting flight, he had always had a knack for creating stuff. As there was no current set tinkerer, he quickly chose that role for himself, along with the fitting outfit.

One day a dragon named Cobalt came, her age similar to his. He could instantly sense something about her that was different. They later found out that they shared some of the same magic, which strengthened their friendship.

One day that was all put on hold. Twinkle called Stormcircuit over one day, and she gave him a task.

"Stormcircuit, would you be able to construct a mock-Fae dragon of arcane alignment?"
At first he stared at her blankly. The communication barrier between the two really hindered things. Flicking her crests slightly, she looked around for any nearby dragons.
"Nightshine!"
He could tell she was calling over another one of their clanmates, he just couldn't really tell which one. When the dark blue guardian made her way over, Twinkle said something to her, presumably the same message she had intended to say directly to him.

"Are you be able to construct a mock-Fae dragon of arcane alignment?" Nightshine said to him.

"You mean robot? Sure, any guidelines to it?"

Nightshine relayed the message back to Twinkle, who immediately said something back. Nightsine turned towards him.

"Make it very obviously arcane looking."

Stormcircuit had his assignment, and he got to work straight away. With the help of Cobalt and Twinkle's input, in a month, the dragon was complete.

A crystal pink dragon stood before them, almost resembling a real dragon. Twinkle studied it, checking for any errors in Fae anatomy. She said something to Cobalt.

"How much does it... She weigh?"
While he could understand Cobalt just fine normally, he knew that because she was repeating something a fae had told her, it ended up harder for him to understand. He could, it was just very hard.

Putting the near ready fae onto a scale, he measured. 3.08kg... I think that's a problem?

"0.08 kg more than she should... Sorry 'bout that."

"Whatever, this will work."

No hint of emotion was shown as Twinkle said that, no motion of her crests, not even a hint of satisfaction. That was the problem with Fae to Coatl communication - things could easily get jumbled.

Though he was technically the robotic dragon's father with Cobalt. It was almost like they shared the same child, but not quite.

A dragon named Ethwin arrived. The ice born dragon was on a temporary stay. He looked exactly how he, Stormcircuit used to look. Ethwin ended up having three children before he departed - Dewdrop, Stormjewl and Mistberry. It came at an unfortunate time, as his stay had come to an end, due to being needed to help serve the Shadowbinder. He had also decided that Mistberry would go with him, so he proved to be the strongest of the three. Stormcircuit watched as he intrusted the care of the remaining two to Cobalt, who accepted.

"Sure, I'll watch over them."

Cobalt mimicked Stormcircuit's speech pattern as she spoke. A day or two later she had come to him.
"I've got no clue what I'm doing, wanna help?"

Hearing someone speak back to him in almost the same way he did made him feel weird, even if it was Cobalt. Even feeling that it didn't really matter. The two of them had been friends for awhile. His experience in the field was probably similar to hers, but the two of them could figure it out together.

Stormcircuit is a dragon who has a good heart. He finds it a hinderance that since the majority of the clan is faes, that he needs a translator to speak. He still enjoys socializing with others though.

Shares an ancestor 4/5 generations back with Cobalt which made me super sad because they would have made a great pair
