There was a big deal about the 30 millionth dragon being born, and she happened to have a somewhat low 300 ID. No one was entirely sure on what this meant, but it was rumoured that at the observatory, every single dragon born, even hose exalted had an ID assigned to them, and it was a big thing if the ID looked nice or interesting. Those with multiple zeros in them were very interesting. Dragons always know which number they are, as it is a number that resonates with them. Some dragons even have the power to see the IDs of others.

When the 30 millionth dragon of sorienth was born, all those who came after were seen as failiures. The day she was born, Shadowrose ended up going through multiple clans, each one trying to find a dragon who was close to being the thirty millionth. She finally ended up in the Twilight Circle. A few days later the craze about the thirty millionth dragon had subsided. All of this had happened in the first week of her existence.
