The foxfire bramble may have had a low serthis population, but the defecting centaur groups and Talonok who roamed the earth and sky had proved to be a problem. A cluster of moon path clans living there had called for help, having been ambushed by a centaur herd, the spot being claimed as their own. Being one of the clans on the path, Twinkle and Frost had been called by a more senior clan living closer to that area. Both leaders had been called, bringing along both their heir and advisor. Bubblefrost and Polarstrike were acting as co-leaders for the time being.

A group of four or five decently sized clans of the foxfire bramble had their homes taken. While most of the moon path clan representatives had only groups of four or five, those clans had almost every member.

"We are gathered here today to discuss the events of the Foxfire attack," a senior skydancer spoke, the leader of the clan who had called the meeting. The beastclans are clearly a problem, but charging in without a plan would be reckless."

"Let's also not forget we have to discuss the fate of the clans affected," a coat, younger than the skydancer spoke up, looking towards the members of those clans.
"Of course," the skydancer replied, before turning towards the general area of those clans.

"May a leader of any of the affected clans tell us in more depth about what happened and the state of your clan?"

When no one spoke immediately, a fae flew to be seen, and started to speak.
"They were everywhere. For us it happened around around dawn. Various Talonok had invaded and destroyed out supplied. We tried to fig them off, but there were centaurs with raised bows, pointing at us in warning. Our clan is safe, but many of the young have been quite shaken from the experience."

"Our clan was attacked in the afternoon. We had heard some rustling but had assumed it was somebody's familiar. We were mistaken. Some members of our group have fled, finding refuge in other clans."

Each group told their story, describing to the best of their ability the attack. The other clans listened, silently taking it all in. As the final group finished with their encounter, the skydancer spoke once more, calling forth the clans invited who lived in the forum of the obscured crescent, the place that could host the largest clans, to speak.

"I think we can find space to host them all there," a bogsneak leader said.
"What about those who have left? Where will they know where to look?"
"The hope is that it is only a temporary solution."

As the clans discussed, the Twilight Circle remained silent. None of them had felt the need to speak or interject. The meeting went on, and it was agreed that each clan would send fighters in attempts to drive off the beastclans. Word had also been sent to clans near the Moon Path, though not directly on it to ask for help.

Silverwisp, Mulberryshade and Disco had all volunteered to help, and as such were sent to fight. The three of them, under command of Frost himself had joined with multiple other squads of fighters. The clans had banded together, to defeat a common enemy.

They launched the attack, fighting bravely, driving the beastclans out. There were multiple injuries from both sides, but in the end, the dragons had one. They had reclaimed their land. The previously relocated clans had all started to move back. Twinkle and Frost were both helping oversee it along with others, making sure the move went smoothly.

They had been about to head back to the Twilight Circle when the noticed the egg shell of a hatched egg. Sleeping within it was a fae, who looked like he had hatched a few days beforehand.

"He must have come from one of the clans who took refuge here," Twinkle commented. Frost looked around for any dragons who may resemble the hatchling.
"I think his parents might have fled during the initial attack."
"We'll send a message to each of the clans. For now it's best we bring him back to ours."

They sent messages out to each of the clans, asking if they were missing a fae. One of them got back.

On the day of the attack we had a nest hatch. I believe they also had another hatchling. The family fled. We have received word that they want to stay at their current location for awhile. If he's safe with your clan and you have no objections to it, we are willing to let you keep him as member of your clan as a token of thanks.

"I think everyone's taken a liking to him," Twinkle said. "We should keep him."
"I'm fine with that idea."

Then Oceanstride was made a member of their clan.
