Lithinial, though is one of the Clan's oldest members, is also one who has always kept a sense of childish innocence about him. He's a pacifist and hates conflict; even so, he's learned quite a bit about healing magic and medicines from the many healers in the Clan. He's very sweet and loves meeting new people, even if he is a bit socially awkward when first meeting them. He has a habit of believing everything and anything and easily trusting others; it's because of his gullibleness that Marrow, his Amethyst King, often acts more like his keeper than just his companion. Even so, his innocent nature is one of the most darling things about him, and everyone hopes he never changes.

Lithinial
Starry-Eyed Night Dreamer
"I rather give everyone in the world a big hug then to argue over something meaningless"

...

Lithinial is an extremely kind-hearted Dragon, and he can be a bit of a crybaby at times. He's very much against violence and hates it when others fight. His kindness is one of his best and biggest traits, and despite his size, anyone who meets him eventually come to like him, even if it's begrudgingly for his very peaceloving attitude to things. But because of his sweet and loving heart, he tends to get into fights with other Dragons that are intimidated by his size, but his fellow clan members are always there to protect their pacifist friend. Almost every night, Lithinial will often take a small amount a food for a snack and his favorite book, and he will lay down and relax near the Beacon.

The other Dragons were very surprised when they saw Lithinial come home with Marrow, his Familiar, in tow. One night, while the Ridgeback spent his time reading in his favorite spot near the Beacon the cliff, he was completely unaware of two glowing eyes watching him. Lithinial was completely absorbed in his book while he munched on some food he brought, the clear night sky dotted with twinkling stars overhead, and many different things all being thought of with nothing in particular at all. He was just at the good part in his book when he heard the sound of small footsteps. Looking over, he noticed the young Amethyst King watching from the side, and Lithinial knew that it was very young from it's size and timid nature. As it sat there and the Dragon watched him, the Ridgeback quickly came to understand that it was staring at the food on the silken napkin. So, with careful and slow grace, Lithinial placed the food behind him, acting like he didn't want it anymore. When he turned away, he heard the sound of eating and returned to his book, satisfied. When enough time has passed, the Dragon decided to gather his things to go back to the Lair. But before he could walk a few steps, he noticed that the Silken Napkin was in front of him, with the Amethyst King sitting, looking at him with admiring eyes. Lithinial looked at him, smiled, and asked if he would like to come home with him.ever since, the two have been inseparable, and spend many hours on the hill at night, reading under the stars.

....OoOoOoO......
(The following is a story about an adventure to an unknown place called 'Fur-Ahn-Zzh' and the first contact with an unknown being.... Hope you enjoy! ^^)

"...Ugh..." The voice groaned. The large, purple Ridgeback rolled over onto his back, blinking from the sunlight. He rolled again, onto his side this time, but noticed something strange about the surface he laid upon. When he looked down, he was very surprised to see that the entire ground was completely flat, but very rough with millions small rocks stuck together, giving the entire ground a tan color. He looked at the ground in amazement before a voice drew his attention.

"Ngh...Lithinial? Is that...you?" The motherly voice asked. The Ridgeback raced over to the Mirror, carefully helping her up. He supported her as she swayed a little before balancing on her legs. She stretched her green wings as she shook her grey body awake.

"Yes, but what are we doing here, Milithinal? And where are the others?" The Ridgeback glanced around, taking in the strange scene. Many strange constructions lay in a clearly systematic way, and they reminded the Ridgeback of the Hewn City ruins, but these ones were not broken and destroyed. Though he looked around, he couldn't find a single Dragon or other being anywhere. Mountains that were much larger than any he's ever seen lined the background and stretched into the horizon.

"I'm not sure," she answered as she, too, looked at their strange surroundings. "The only thing I can remember is looking at that strange amulet Ruby had found...That Nocturne..." she sighed, shaking her head as she knew it was pointless trying to reason that collecting fanatic's antics. She again looked around, but the strange objects blocked most of her view. She turned to Lithinial as she lifted up her wings. "It would best if we looked from the air; we could see better from up there." The Ridgeback nodded as they both took off.

From the sky, the two had a good view of the strange land. The strange structures lay everywhere in what appeared to be a pattern of some kind, and separating rows of them were long, seemingly continuous grayish black strips that seemed to be made of the same strange stone the two woke upon. As they flew over what they both started to consider the opposite of the Hewn City, Lithinial spotted something inside a small grove of trees.

"Down there!" He pointed to it. Milithinal flew around for a better look. A large blue and purple mass lay underneath the trees, unmoving. The two Dragons glanced at each other before diving towards it. When they land, they both trotted over to the figure sleeping underneath the trees.

"Galiwyth!" Milithinal cried. She rushed over to the unresponsive Guardian. When he still didn't respond, she shook him a bit roughly, and finally the Dragon grunted something unintelligible as he rolled lazily over. He blinked, shaking his head as he cleared his sleep induced vision.

"Milithinal? Lithinial? What...What's going on?" He asked, stepping out into the sunlight. He shaded his eyes as he looked at the two of them. The Ridgeback and Mirror exchanged worried glances before explaining they had no idea. He listened intently before looking around at the alien surroundings.

"Hmm....From what has happened, it seems that the amulet Ruby found has transported us to this strange place," he pondered, walking around as he examined some of the large structures. Milithinal and Lithinial both blinked in surprise at the revelation.

"So, if we can find that amulet again, we should be able to go home, right?" Lithinial piped up in hope. The Guardian nodded.

"But we have to find it first," he said, swerving his head as he looked at his surroundings. The three of them flew off, deciding that splitting up would have more chances of success before night falls. They crossed the land in effort, and eventually each came across the strange inhabitants. The creatures were relatively small, and looked very similar to each other. What amazed the Dragons was the lack of wings and any form of survival adaptations. They had strange fur growing from their heads and some on their flat faces, they had no claws or sharp teeth, and they all wore strange apparel along with talking into strange devices the Dragons just couldn't imagine. When they met again, they all discussed their own encounters with the beings.

"They're very....abnormal things," Milithinal finally stated. "I watched a couple of the strange being's hatchlings playing, and they act nothing like any sentient being I've seen. And their language is very strange. I think, after listening to them talk for a while, that we're in a place called 'Fur-Ahn-Zzh'," she explained. The other two nodded in agreement. They continued discussing till Galiwyth brought up one point that's been bothering them all.

"...No Dragons. None." He stated. The others nodded. They all sat, thinking deeply about this. Lithinial finally broke the silence when he brought up the idea they were all thinking of.

"You don't think...That Dragons have never been to this place?" The young Ridgeback asked, glancing at the other two. They both remained silent, showing they were thinking the same thing.

"I think it's probably for the best we leave this place without letting the strange creatures be aware of our existence," Milithinal told the others. They all hummed in agreement before taking off again, more carefully and stealthily to avoid detection. As they all flew for another sweep in search of the amulet, a strange glow caught Lithinial's eye.

What's that? he thought as he flew silently down to it, landing behind a smaller version of the large structures. The Ridgeback, because of his stature had to lean down because the much smaller beings could easily his large body. Leaning over, he almost jumped with delight at the sight of the unmistakable gleam of gold. But the only problem was that though he was hidden by a huge structure, the amulet was stuck in a box of sand in front of a white structure.

He stared at it, nervously shifting his feet and wings as he debated whether he should just grab it or go and find the others. Finally just taking a deep breath, he approached it with as much grace and stealth as any Ridgeback could muster. He sighed in relief as he extended a claw to pick it up. But right before he could grab it, he heard the plink of something metal being dropped into a hard surface.

He whipped his head to his right, and staring at him with big eyes was one of the strange hatchlings, a small metallic toy on the ground below, forgotten. Frozen in place, his claws out stretched, Lithinial and the small creature stared for what must've been only a few moments, but felt like an eternity to the Ridgeback. While the stare contrast went on, he got a good look of the strange creature. It was very small, with long brown fur from it's head. It's bipedal body was very lean in form, and it's eyes were set on the front of it's head, with pools of dark brown in the center.

They both finally broke their trance when the sound of footsteps approached. Lithinial, panicking now, hid behind the structure again, peering cautiously over. A larger being was talking to the smaller one before it left the hatchling and went inside the large white structure which the Ridgeback guessed must have been the being's lair.

When the adult being left, the small one looked over at Lithinial's hiding spot. It stood there for a moment before it grabbed the amulet with its pudgey little hands and ran back over to his hiding spot. Lithinial backed up a bit when it neared, but the strange hatchling just looked back to the white large Lair before holding up the amulet to him. He looked at it in surprise, and when he looked at the hatchling, it just smiled at him, making a strange but happy sound. He carefully took the amulet from the creature, and with a friendly look back, took off as the strange hatchling waved it's hand in what he must have guessed to be a gesture of farewell.

He flew a bit, holding the amulet tightly in a claw before he spotted Galiwyth and Milithinal hiding in a large cluster of trees. The Ridgeback carefully looked around to make sure the area was clear before he drove toward them, some of their conversation being carried to him by the wind.

"...Nothing at all," Mithinal sighed. Galiwyth hummed, thinking about this. They both couldn't find any sign of where that amulet could have gone. They both sat in hopeless silence till a voice broke into their thoughts.

"I found it!" Lithinial announced proudly, holding the amulet up with a claw. The Mirror and Guardian rushed over to him. Milithinal hugged him, joy and relief flooding her eyes.

"Lithinial! Where did you ever find it?" She said as she took it from him. He just smiled happily.

"I have my ways," he said in a happy but secretive voice. The other two just exchanged glances, but didn't push him for the answer. The three of them gathered around in a small circle. They all looked at each other, nodding.

"Ready?" Milithinal asked the other two. They both nodded. Carefully, they all laid their claws on top of the amulet, and after a heartbeat, the amulet started to glow. Soon, the brilliance of it lit the entire crop of trees, and with a flash, the Dragons had disappeared.

"...Ugh..." Lithinial groaned. He sat up, rubbing a paw on his head. Next to him lay both Galiwyth and Milithinal, both also starting to stir. He was just about to sit up when he felt a nudge on his leg. The Ridgeback looked down to see his Familiar, a young Amethyst King named Marrow, wrapping it's claws tightly around his leg.

"Lithinial? Milithinal, Galiwyth!" They all looked up to see all the Dragons standing in the room's doorway. Ruby flew in, her orange and red scales glowing brightly.

"We were so worried about the three of you! Maybe it wasn't the best idea to touch the amulet, huh?" The Nocturne joked, though she rubbed her paw on the back of her head in a regretful way.

"It's fine, but next time don't touch things you've never seen before, okay?" Milithinal mildly scolded her. The Nocturne bowed her head in apology till Galiwyth simply patted it.

"Where did you all go, anyways?" She asked again as the other Dragons and Familiars crowded them in happy greeting. At this, the three of them cast looks at each other till Lithinial answered with a playful smile.

"Somewhere special!"
