Noble Leader of the Clan
Protector of Justice

Biography and Background

Galiwyth, the Guardian and undisputed though extremely gentlemanly leader of the Clan. As all Guardian Dragons, he's very loyal and protective of all the Clan members whom he each considers a part of his Charge. He's very much taciturn, but occasionally will give lectures and talk in deep conversation with the other members when he believes the time calls for it. He always tries to be a gentleman no matter who he's with, coming off gallant and noble. He's undoubtedly the ruler of the Clan, and despite some of the other Dragons being older than himself, they all greatly respect him. He's incredibly calm and collective even in the most dire of situations, making him an irreplaceable part of the Clan, along with being very knowledgeable from his long hours in the Clan's study.
Though it was a long search, Galiwyth finally found his Charge in the form of Milithinal. The injured and uncommonly sweet and motherly Mirror was saved by him, and ever since the two have been together in the ever growing lair. Though at first he only considered her his Charge, when he rescued Tarialia, he came to the conclusion that all the Dragons that come to his door step are his Charge in some shape or form. After that, all the Dragons that come to live in the Lair are considered his Charge and absolute responsibility, making them all part of his family in a sense, even the ones that eventually leave to find their own place in the world.
He found Oracle, his familiar, under very strange conditions. One day, when he came across the Sunbeam Ursa, an unusual anomaly occurred. They both stood there on the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins, testing each other's worth as they both looked in to each other's eyes, observing. After a while, the Sunbeam Ursa just nodded his head, stepping up to the young Guardian in passive approval. The chosen Guardian then turned back to the Lair, the Ursa walking next to him. After this, with the Ursa in tow whom was eventually named Oracle, the Guardian every day watched the edges of the Sunbeam Ruins from a perch near the beacon.
He created the Protectors once the Clan reached a size so large, they had to move to find a larger Lair to house the ever growing Clan. The Protectors are a small group of the Dragons of the Clan, the Warriors, that strive to protect Sorienth, and in turn their Clan, from any and all harm The Protectors are made up of so far seven Dragons, including Galiwyth and Milithinal, and each of them are designated with a status based on their strongest qualities, such as Galiwyth being the Protector of Justice and Milithinal being the Protector of Charity. Protectors are very Loyal Dragons who fight bravely for their Clan, and Galiwyth helps train them so other Protectors may lead their Clans safely and to victory in all perils and dangers.

Life in the Clan

As a Protector, Galiwyth is the leader of the Protectors as the Protector of Justice along with being the leader of the Clan. As his nature, he very much believes in fairness and equality among all, along with being very protective of those considered to be members of the Clan. He spends long hours training the Minor Protectors on the duties and responsibilities of being a full Protector. Despite having an overly stern and overpowering presence, he's in fact very patient and firm but kind when teaching those aspiring to be full Protectors. Whenever the Protectors get word of any sort of dark and evil presence on the horizon, Galiwyth always leads the main scouting groups and usually assigns Kamarian to lead on the smaller scouting groups while Galiwyth deals with more pressing matters for his attention. He spends many hours deep into the night pouring over paperwork, documents, and any other forms the Protectors get on a daily basis, always diligently ready to get armed in case the Protectors are needed at any moment.
Galiwyth's devout Life Partner is the Mirror, Milithinal. Really, because of her is the reason that he's the Clan Leader we see today. He and the motherly Mirror spend many hours together with their research Familiars inside the Clan's Library, doing his favorite activity; reading. True to his studious and serious nature, his favorite book to read is unsurprisingly a book on philosophy: "Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature" by R. Rorty. While he reads, he often enjoys listening to music as many of the other Dragons of the Clan do, and his favorite song is "Heroes" by M. Smith. He also has a tendency to stare at the blue sky above the Light Flight, thinking deeply and admiring his favorite color, that deep sky blue, turquoise. As he spends hours at a time inside the Library, one of the other Dragons will often bring him his favorite food to snack on, which is all types of seafood, but particularly different kinds of shellfish. Chocoll found it would be interesting keep all of the Dragons' favorite quotes in a large book, so when he inquired Galiwyth, the Guardian simply replied "A Leader is only as strong as their Comrades."
As time went on, Galiwyth slowly became aware of his increasingly larger Charge; in other words, the Clan grew pretty rapidly, with some Dragons visiting for a while, just having hatched, or more often than not, deciding to stay permanently. Because of this, he and the others set out to search for the perfect place to set Clan Paladin's new Lair and home of the Protectors. After a while, they finally found themselves in the Mirrorlight Promenade, and among the glittering ruins they happened upon a large door, leading to a vast, abandoned dome room inside. Since then, he's expanded the Lair in the Promenade with his ever growing Charge.
