✎. . . . . Arnobius, alongside his sister Mesanykhta, was born in the Tempest Spire to Orion and Morgana. Orion was a first generation Night Warrior, and raised his children to follow the same path. Mesanykhta was widely acknowledged as gifted in the arts of war, while in contrast, Arnobius was talented on the level of personal interaction. He was drawn to children and those less fortunate than him, wishing to help anyone and everyone he could. Unfortunately, this trait often led him into trouble. His omnipresent friendliness and urge to help caused more than a few incidents where he ended up misunderstanding the situation and helping the person on the wrong side of the law. Eventually, their father elected to send them across Sornieth to an Arcane clan, in order to train under the Fae known as Othalo. Arnobius and Mesanykhta took to the environment like ducks to water, happily settling in with the clan and making friends among the people there.

Once his and Mesanykhta’s training was complete, Othalo decided to retire and leave the safety of the clan in the capable talons of his students. Arnobius was placed in charge of training his first batch of Night Warriors- the children of Othalo. They were certainly a talonful, rambunctious and playful as young ones. Even now, when they’re grown up, they won’t stop making jokes and pranking him or their fellow warriors in training. Despite their mischievous nature, Arnobius knows that their pranks and jokes are always intended to be harmless. He made sure to instill a sense of honor and honesty in them, and that makes the young warriors kind and patient when it really counts. However… Arnobius has ended up doused in day-old seaweed on multiple occasions, and Mesanykhta sometimes needs to come down to handle them. Unfortunately, his threats of punishment aren’t often taken seriously. The young warriors know that he’s a softie at heart, and can’t resist taking advantage of his good nature at times.

Observant, straight forward, and downright jovial, Arnobius is a kind soul who desires to help everyone he can. His moral compass can be slightly vague at times, as he understands that no one is completely good or bad, but he lives by a code of honesty and honor that he has passed on to all the students he has trained to follow the noble path of the Night Warriors. With a sense of humor that can make even the sternest dragon laugh, he frequently participates in joke battles with dragons of other clans. It’s a common thing among warriors- they need something to bring joy to their lives, after all. After whatever skirmishes he participated in, he can often be found sitting around a campfire with his fellow fighters, roasting marshmallows on metal skewers and telling the most hilariously outrageous tales. Mesanykhta tends more towards dry sarcasm, so sometimes their differing kinds of humor clash, but they always understand each other. Although there was that one time where they accidentally started a prank war against each other.

Bishas Arnobius, also known as Sage Arno, was a powerful Ancient who is known as the originator of human magic that is widely used at the present time. Long ago, he was corrupted by evil and turned against his fellowmen, triggering the War of the Ancients, and was responsible for summoning a fragment of the Goddess Vestinel, later known as Lunaria, into Lagendia. At the end of the war, a reformed Arno, consumed by remorse, performed many deeds, some of which later claimed as questionable in hindsight.

Nereid was noted for having a powerful manticore under her command, as well as for using the Mirror of Truth to isolate the evil energy that corrupted Arnobius.
