What the Water Gave Me, Florence and the Machine

______ Deep in the lair of the Abyssal Cove, the brave explorer Abyss found someone rarely spoke of by the other gods of the clan: Marina, the sea witch. Mixing concoctions and making mysterious potions, Marina is the god of magic and mystery. Her magic helps to power the Abyssal Cove, making it habitable for the gods who are not originally from the sea. Although her magic is important, she is... difficult to get along with, rarely interacting with those other than the princess and the queen.

______ With the arrival of Abyss however, another exception was made to Marina's limited social circle. The brave explorer was not at all unnerved by the witch's frightening appearance and odd mannerisms, instead finding her intriguing and interesting. Despite her initial impression of Abyss as reckless and unappreciative of the precision required by her magic, Marina quickly warmed up to her and the two formed an unlikely friendship. As the weeks passed and Abyss spent more and more time with Marina, Marina felt her feelings for the other dragon changing. Before long she confessed her love, and the two have remained happily together ever since.

______ Before the arrival of Abyss, Marina hardly left her cave and cauldron, rarely interacting with the others. However, the traveler quickly drew her out of her shell, resulting in Marina speaking with younger gods she scarcely knew and finally feeling like a full-fledged member of the clan. The Sea Witch's magic became even stronger, and she lived happily with Abyss, no longer a scarcely spoken to member of the clan.
