Biography

Papillon
~The dancer~
Perhaps it was fate that Papillon was born a skydancer. Even in her egg her parents said she rocked to any rhythm within earshot. After she hatched, however she was not as graceful, and she was the last of he clutch to to learn to walk and fly. Her parents told her to be thankful for what she had, she was beautiful and had a melodic voice, but she couldn't help feeling somehow... incomplete.

So she'd sneak of to go to the forest to find any beautiful birds she could dance to their songs while there was no one to see or mock her. She grow older and more lovely each day, but still there were whispers in her clan. '...if only she wasn't born with two left feet...' '...She's a nice enough girl, but...' So Papillon worked everyday trying to get better and each day.

Once she was old enough she left her clan to find her place. Unfortunately she was young and naive and very soon fell prey to a group of highwayman. Papillon would have ended up dead if it wasn't for her gallant savor. A handsome young marksman rushed out of the forest and fought off the thieves. Afterwards she tended to his wounds and song him a song. He told her of the wonderful loving clan he hailed from and Papillon decided to at least visit. On the journey, they grew closer, but her heart nearly stopped when he made a seemingly innocent request: he asked her to dance with him.

With shaking claws she accepted his offer, and thus the best dance of her life began. Of course, her steps were clumsy and she stepped on his feet more than a dozen times. He said her dance was...beautiful. Papillon teared up on the spot and needless to say, her heart was stole that day. After that they finished their journey and she found the loving home that she lives in to this day.
